Pixiebob kittens & cats in West Sacramento, California

I received four 2-week old kittens and their mother from an apartment complex near mine. This complex is overrun with cats and a Good Samaritan who already has 8 cats of her own asked for help with this new litter. Koshihikari took the longest to wean from mom’s milk. While his siblings were chowing down on Friskies’ finest, Koshi was thoroughly repulsed by food. It was only after I introduced a pasteurized egg and slowly added wet food to it did he start eating solid food. Now, he has caught up to his siblings in weight and is usually the one to ask for his meals first! After his meals, he will run and wrestle with his siblings, play with toys, and even jump on his mother. He is my proudest foster success. While I’d love for him to be adopted with his sister, Mochi, I think he would do well in a household with another cat to play with him.
