Returned through no fault of his own, this handsome boy is now settling in with his new foster mom — and we’re happy to report he’s doing exactly what resilient cats do best… adjusting. Right now, Forrest is a little shy. Big life changes will do that. But each day he’s coming around more and more, learning that he’s safe again. And here’s the sweetest part: &#226&#156&#168 He LOVES to be combed. Brushing time is his happy place. The second the comb comes out, he melts into it — soaking up the gentle attention and quietly bonding. It’s his way of saying, “I want to trust you.” Forrest would do best in: • A calm home • A patient adopter • Someone who understands that shy doesn’t mean unfriendly • Someone willing to give him a little time to blossom At just one year old, he’s: • Past the tiny kitten chaos • Young enough to adapt beautifully • Ready to form a deep, loyal bond The shy ones often become the most devoted companions. They just need someone willing to earn their trust — and Forrest is already halfway there. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in watching a cat gain confidence and bloom, Forrest might be your perfect match.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. She gets along wonderfully with two Yorkiepoos and another cat. She adores being held and playing with older, respectful children as well as adults. She has excellent scratching manners — she consistently uses her scratching posts and has never damaged furniture. She’s a healthy eater and not finicky at all. Tinker Bell showed up on her foster’s doorstep one cold evening seeking shelter. Thankfully, her foster welcomed her in and reached out for help finding her forever home. Because she is so friendly and people-oriented, it’s likely she was once part of a family who simply didn’t have time for a kitty anymore. She is currently an indoor cat but would likely enjoy a safe indoor/outdoor home. She may need a bit more indoor training, particularly with litter box consistency, but with patience and routine she should adjust well. Tinker Bell will make a loving and devoted companion for the right home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. She’s the most reserved of the group, often sticking close to her sister Titania for reassurance, but every day she comes out of her shell a little more.   With warm, classic tabby stripes and a soft expression, Snug has an old-soul sweetness to her. She’s gentle, observant, and curious in quiet ways. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a playful and loving companion.   Snug would do best in a calm home, ideally with another cat she can bond with or one of her siblings. She’s a perfect match for someone who understands that the shy ones often become the most loyal and loving companions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend.
