Story
Mavis is a sweet 4 year old girl who is having a hard time coexisting with the other cats in the house. She has recently developed a stress response around the other cats she previously loved to snuggle with. We have tried to manage this with pheromones and anxiety meds without success. It breaks my heart to think about rehoming her, but she is not happy in this current situation. She is a tortoise shell with a beautiful white under layer in her coat. She loves to play and snuggle at night. Mavis loves our gentle dog and relaxing on the couch in the evenings. Mavis was struggling with some dental decay a few months ago that we treated by having a few teeth pulled, followed by a deep clean. She does not seem to have any impediments as a result. We love her so much but are looking for a home without other cats so she can relax and live a lower anxiety life. Only considering homes that will have her inside exclusively. She is not a barn cat.
