"I really want inside! Sitting in this kitchen window always worked, before. Mom always saw me here, looking lonesome, and let me inside. I really want to come inside.    Twice, I have been taken to another home... and twice, I have had to brave a 3 mile journey home. 3 miles to return to the only home I know... and the window sill that always got mom's attention. The front porch where I last saw her. The life I knew...    At least what's left of it.   My name is Sphen. I'm an orphan, I suppose. Mom is gone. And her energy that remains isn't able to open the doors. I can't quite grasp this fact because I am a cat. I just want to come inside.   I am an inside cat. I am 7 yrs old, neutered and QoL is having my vaccines updated tomorrow. I just need a safe place to go, after that."   *Sphen needs an adoptive home or a reputable rescue transfer. We do not currently have him in our possession. We will be connecting with his advocate this evening to have him ready for tomorrow morning's visit to the clinic. He is currently located in Ocala FL. His human mom passed away 3 months ago. He has been removed from the property twice but returned BOTH times (as in, he traveled 3 miles to get home, on foot, twice). It's absolutely heartbreaking. His advocate is a neighbor that is going north, soon.
