Do you love calico cats with bold colors? Phoenix is a beauty, with her coat of golden orange, black and white. She is friendly with people, likes petting, and is talkative. Phoenix was a mother to two kittens, but is now free to live her life without repeated pregnancies. She was an indoor kitty until she escaped one day while in heat. She is a bit distrustful with other cats, but should adjust to them. She has not been around dogs. ##2751194##

Story
Jesse is a lovely older kitten, with a beautiful soft buff colored coat. He is a calm fellow, who happy to stay contentedly on my lap as I took his pictures. As he relaxes in his new home, I expect he will become a bit more active, but he seems to have a somewhat laid-back personality. Jesse came to Heartland from one of our partner shelters in Appalachia with his more rambunctious brother, Todd. He is about 9months old, so his quiet  personality is pretty firmly established. ##2756617##

Story
Todd is quite the active older kitten. He is very curious about everything, and ready to play at a moment's notice. He is about 9 months old, and came here from Kentucky to find a home. Todd needed some dental work when he arrived, but that has all been taken care of now. He likes people, and likes having their attention. Todd would be a great kitty for a family with children to play with. He has not been around dogs, but seems to  take everything in stride. ##2756618##
