She loves to chat with her people and enjoys attention, but always on her terms. Isadora is the kind of kitty who will form a deep bond with her chosen person (or two!) and keep you company with her adorable commentary and quiet affection. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, especially with all the sights and sounds of other animals—she’s made it very clear that she prefers to be the only cat in the home. She may be ok with being introduced to a small cat-savvy dog or a pocket pet in a few years after she fully adjusts, but she does really prefer being the only pet. In a calm, quiet environment where she can truly relax and be in charge, we expect her to settle in beautifully and show her best self.Isadora is looking for a low-key home with one or two people who understand and respect her boundaries. She tends to prefer women and may not be a fan of men, though she can coexist with them as more of a “background character” in her story. He may be a little shy at first, but Cosmo warms up quickly and forms a special bond with his people. Once he’s comfortable, he enjoys a calm, cozy life filled with calm companionship and his favorite routines. Cosmo is looking for a quiet home where he can be the one and only pet. He’d do best in a home with people who understand his boundaries. Mealtime is very important to him—he prefers to eat in peace and can get upset if disturbed while enjoying his wet food. Cosmo also has a history of urinary crystals and will need to stay on his Prescription Diet C/D food (both dry and wet) for life, along with an established vet for ongoing care.
