Isadora the Independent Diva Meet Isadora, a talkative, sweet, and affectionate girl—with a strong independent streak and a clear idea of how she wants her world to run! She loves to chat with her people and enjoys attention, but always on her terms. Isadora is the kind of kitty who will form a deep bond with her chosen person (or two!) and keep you company with her adorable commentary and quiet affection. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, especially with all the sights and sounds of other animals—she’s made it very clear that she prefers to be the only cat in the home. She may be ok with being introduced to a small cat-savvy dog or a pocket pet in a few years after she fully adjusts, but she does really prefer being the only pet. In a calm, quiet environment where she can truly relax and be in charge, we expect her to settle in beautifully and show her best self.Isadora is looking for a low-key home with one or two people who understand and respect her boundaries. She tends to prefer women and may not be a fan of men, though she can coexist with them as more of a “background character” in her story. Meet Meowxine — The Quiet Little Observer Meowxine is a shy girl with a gentle heart who just needs a little extra time and patience to feel safe. New places and unfamiliar people can feel overwhelming for her at first, so she does best with a calm, understanding environment where she can settle in at her own pace without pressure. Once she begins to trust her surroundings, her sweet personality slowly starts to shine through.Meowxine may do okay with another cat after a slow, thoughtful introduction, though dogs would likely take more time for her to feel comfortable around. Her history with children is unknown, but older, respectful kids who understand shy cats would likely be the best fit. While she enjoys toys from time to time, Meowxine is much more of a foodie at heart—treats, wet food, and snack time are some of the quickest ways to earn her trust. With patience, cozy hiding spots, and lots of kindness, she has all the potential to grow into a deeply rewarding and loving companion. She appreciates a quiet home where she can relax and be herself, and she tends to do best with people who understand and respect feline boundaries. Tobie previously lived with Sassy and enjoyed his companionship. While they are not required to go home together, they may be able to successfully share a home again with slow, patient reintroductions.Unlike her former roommate, Tobie currently has no known medical concerns and is ready to settle into a loving home. She enjoys the simple things in life—comfortable places to nap, gentle affection, and a peaceful environment. If you`re looking for a laid-back companion with a sweet personality and plenty of love to share, Tobie may be the perfect match.
