gentle male cat needs home after being abandonedThis is a courtesy listing and not affiliated with Desoto Animal Rescue Society. Please contact anita4036@aol.com for more information. This precious little guy is in need of a loving home. He is the sweetest kitty, loves to chat and eat and gives the best head bumps. It hurt my heart to even think about how hard it has been for him to adjust to bring on his own after being abandoned in our neighborhood. Please if a rescue or a family could help. Like all fur babies who once had homes and were taken away and left behind, he deserves a family he can love and be loved on. We wish we could continue to keep him but we have 2 rescues of our own now. We are willing to have him fully vetted before going to his new loving home…October 19, 2025, 6:28 pm

Gene and his sister Rudy were strays in a neighborhood and were caught when they were about 3 months old. They have been in foster care for a while and are now about 4 years old. As with most cats, Gene is nosey and has been exploring the house when possible (as you can see from one of the pics). He actually wants attention now especially if they come with treats! They are passed the midnight zoomies and will make excellent companions together or separately. Rudy is cautious at first but loves to be petted and play. She and her brother Gene were strays in a neighborhood and were caught when they were about 3 months old. They have been in foster care for a while and are now about 4 years old. Once she gets adjusted she is loving and playful. They are passed the midnight zoomies!
