Story
Our family adopted Lady across the entire country around 2.5 years ago. She is now 4 years old. When we first adopted her they did not make it clear to us that she was a very affectionate cat but afraid of both dogs and kids. We have tried to make it work and give her a happy life but she spends most of her time hiding during the day so she can be active and play at night. She deserves a home she can be herself all day long. She loves to be pet and play, but she is also very independent and does not like to be held. Without the extra stress of a home with dogs or kids she may warm up to liking to be held or snuggled, but it is unknown. She is healthy but does have allergies which cause goopy eyes sometimes. She will need to be seen by a vet to get updated vaccinations once rehomed (she is petrified of being put in a carrier as of right now). Lady would be a wonderful addition to a slow moving quiet home with cats only.

I’m a sweet boy who just needs a little time to settle in. Sometimes new things can feel big and scary, but if you give me some patience and time, you’ll see my playful and cuddly side come out. Once I feel comfortable, I love to play and snuggle!I’m one of several kitties who came from the same home, where there were a lot of cats living together. We’re used to having other kitties around, but new people, places, and sounds can make us a little nervous at first. I’ll need some time to feel safe and comfortable in my new home. A calm home with a friendly kitty companion and not too much chaos would be best for me. With patience and gentle encouragement, I’ll slowly come out of my shell and show you my sweet personality. I may need a little extra time to trust, but once I do, I’ll be a loving, playful, and cuddly companion. I just need someone willing to let me go at my own pace.
