Lilo is the kind of cat who will follow you from room to room just to be near you. He loves nothing more than curling up in a warm lap, and he'll let you know he's happy with plenty of chirps and chatter. His foster mom described him as wonderfully social, he's quiet at night, has never scratched on the furniture (he uses a scratchboard like a gentleman), and has zero interest in sneaking out the door. He enjoys playtime and toys, has a taste for pate-style canned food, and is a big fan of churros (the cat treat, not the pastry, though we can't be certain). ✔ Lap cat: Yes! 100% ✔ Good with dogs: Yes ✔ Good with cats: Yes (lived with other cats) Lilo is a confident, expressive cat who communicates clearly when he's feeling overstimulated or uncomfortable. He may give a quick nip or warning bite if he's had enough. This behavior was observed during his time in kennels and after his recent return from adoption. It is not a sign of aggression, but of a cat who has strong communication skills and will need an adopter who can read and respect his cues. Lilo will thrive with an adult or older-child household that gives him plenty of lap time, some interactive play, and a patient introduction period.
