I am bonded with my best friend, Abbott, we need to be adopted together. Zara and Abbott : Best Friends Forever Zara and Abbott have been together most of their lives and are looking forward to the next chapter in a forever home of their very own. Both have been through a lot of change recently but are still very sweet and gentle cats. Even though they have been together for a long time they have two very different personalities. Zara is the definition of an introvert. She is often found making hideouts in dresser drawers, eating her dinner and playing with puff ball toys in the dark when no one is watching, and taking long naps in the cat bed with her best friend Abbott. She isn't very food motivated but can be tempted with certain chicken treats or play time with a wand feather toy. She is a shy gal, but wIth just a little time and patience she will come around and show her true sweet side. She will be asking for pets and a good cheek scratch while giving soft purrs and rolling on her back for scratches after she settles into her new surroundings. Abbott is a professional extrovert. He will walk around the house on day one like he has lived there all his life. He is a very polite gentleman. He loves meal time, but always makes sure to leave food for Zara. He loves to find a place in the sun to rest in the afternoons or birdwatch out the windows. If you bring out the toys he is always happy to play with you. He is a companion to all, he even made friends with the resident dogs in his foster home. One of his most endearing features is his tongue which is often sticking out just a little. He is constantly purring and has the cutest meows to come out of a cat his size! Zara and Abbott make a great pair, balancing each other out without taking any charm away from the other. They keep one another company, being each other's constant in a world of change, and sharing a special bond that will bring a smile to your face.

Habanero: the cat who took a month to prove his name was not his truth. Who can blame a 9-year old gentleman for having his world turned upside down and being a little mad about it? After a week the spicy exterior began to melt, revealing a selective sweetheart underneath. He's decided on his favorite foster human. He's QUITE sure he prefers to keep his four paws on the ground where they belong. He's open to the idea of other cats but offended by the presence of dogs. He loves being petted until he's over it with a warning bat and a short jog away - but never too far. Opinionated and talkative, Habanero wants to be where his person is, and he wants his person to be predictably in the same place(s) every day. If you've been away, be prepared to answer questions about your audacity when you come home! Habanero might not be a lap cat, but he's never too far from where you are, and every day he relaxes a bit more. Maybe one day you can rename him to Poblano!
