Fluffers, Sox and Fluffers 2 were dumped on somebody's property, and refused to leave. Smart cats. They knew where a safe place was at. We believe Sox is the mom and Fluffers 1 and 2 are her daughters. The people who own the property they were dumped at felt bad for them and took them in to care for them. They have been caring for them for 3 months, and due to the owner's disability, he never had intention to keep them or care for them long term. He only wanted to do the best he could for them during the winter. The kittens seem young - about 10-12 months old and the mom seems to be around 2-3 years old. The mom, Sox, is the friendliest of the 3 and she has no shame in her game. Sox (momma cat) - 2-3 years old and loves to be held. She absolutely loves her scratches and getting loved on. She is definitely a lap cat and would rather be getting pets by you than anywhere else. Sox can enjoy her lay around on a cat tree, or well, whatever she feels like laying on at the time. She gets along great with cats but hasn't met many dogs, so only calm or well-behaved dogs that mainly leave her alone would be best. Sox loves when the fosters children pet her, so we know she gets along with kids! Her Favorite place to sleep is next to you, or on top of you. She loves to play with her toys or with humans but doesn't really care to play with her 2 daughters (who can blame her!). Sox loves to be carriers and getting her pets. Overall, she wants to spend a lot of her time being next to and with her people. Fluffers (1) - 10-12 months old female, very, very sweet. She runs around in circles when its food time because she is so excited for food and just can't wait. She becomes a meowing machine. Fluffers 1 is way more vocal than Fluffers 2. Fluffers (2) - 10-12 months old female very gentle and calm. She likes to just lay around and relax. Much calmer than Fluffer 1 and mom. She is not very vocal and doesn't really play around a lot. She just likes to watch TV and watch the world go by. Both Fluffers love to play with string, but they don't care to play with other cats, but they get along great with other cats. They love getting their pets and crave more every time. They both like to go to high places to sleep and sometimes sleep in piles on top of one another. If they're allowed in bed with you or around you, count them in to be there. They love their cat trees and being high up to see everything. Because of their long hair, please take into consideration the grooming that will come with them. Even though all 3 came from outside, none of them like going outside anymore and prefer to be inside and loved on. All 3 cats will be spayed, tested Negative for FIV/FLV, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea prevention, current on age-appropriate vaccinations and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian PRIOR to transport. Luna and Lilly were found outside in the rain – they were cowering behind plants, trying to stay dry when the homeowner came across them. Luna is the mom – she is approximately 2 years old and is a beautiful calico. Lilly is her only kitten and is approximately 7 weeks old as of 6/5 (DOB approx. 4/17). The homeowner couldn’t bare to see them suffering, and took both mom and kitten in, despite both her and her husband being allergic. Thankfully she reached out to us to help them. Here is what the foster has to say about them: Luna (mom cat) – Luna is a gentle girl who enjoys lounging on the safe and relaxing by the window, watching the world go by. She loves spending time with her kitten and would love another cat companion in the home. She loves her pets and will look for humans, so they give her attention and pet her. A fun quirk about Luna is she LOVES singing. She will listen to singing and almost sway with it. If left alone, she would love to have the TV on for her. She has a calm, loving personality and would make a wonderful companion and lap cat. An ideal home is one that wants a chill cat that just loves to be loved. Lilly (kitten) – Lilly is full of curiosity and kitten energy! She loves playing with her toys and would love a home that has tons of them all over the place for her to play with. She is a very curious girl and is always exploring her surroundings and finding new things to get into. Very mischievous and will always try new things with no shame. She is the kind of kitten that would say “it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission”. Lilly loves hide and seek and is always springing around corners. She loves her wet food! Lilly is growing into a sweet, entertaining and playful little girl. Note: No injury to her tail, she was born with a half tail (it’s not long, nor is bob tail!) Claudia Birthday-10/14/2024 Female Claudia is out on parole but would love to earn a full pardon and find a home of her own. Born on the grounds of a local penitentiary, Claudia was cared for by guards and inmates who hoped she would one day leave “the joint” to make a better life for herself. They spent time playing and socializing with Claudia to help her develop life skills needed on the outside. When our friends from PA Pets made arrangements to TNR some of the colony cats, it was clear this friendly older kitten had done time enough! At first glance, Claudia seems to wear drab brown tiger prison stripes, but check out the unique leopard spots on her belly. She is a bit of an exotic cat! She is graceful and lithe, able to easily scale the highest cat trees. Claudia, once she checks you out, will quickly befriend you. She chirps happily seeking your attention. A little head scratch or belly rub and Claudia will purr her approval. While Claudia craves affection she will also happily self entertain with toys of any type.
