Tallahassee is searching for a purrfect forever home. She is not a fan of dogs or young children and can be cat selective. She and her pal Tallahassee love toys...especially balls or laser pointers. Tallahassee can be vocal, especially when she wants attention.  ##2088326##

Arlo was rescued alongside his buddy Tang, and he’s grown into one very sweet, playful — and curious — boy! Arlo loves toys, playing with his feline friends, and soaking up attention from his humans. He and Tang are especially obsessed with their cat tunnel and can constantly be found playing or hanging out inside it. And when we say Arlo is curious, we mean it! He likes to investigate everything around him and has even been known to test out the shower water. When his exploring is done, he’s just as happy to curl up and sleep with his foster mom. Arlo and Tang make a fantastic duo and would be wonderful adopted together, but Arlo also does great with other friendly felines and can be adopted separately. Affectionate, social, playful, and endlessly curious, Arlo is the kind of kitty we think could fit wonderfully into just about any loving home. ##2809992##

Rose is a beautiful 6-year-old tortie whose world changed when her elderly owner had to move into assisted living. After spending her life in the only home she knew, Rose suddenly found herself starting over — and she’s been showing us more of who she is as she settles into foster care. Rose is a low-key, independent lady who appreciates having a space of her own and the freedom to decide when she’s ready for attention. Once she feels comfortable, she seeks out affection from her humans and enjoys their company. She just likes having a say in the matter — very tortie of her! Although Rose lived as an only cat previously, we’ve learned that she can peacefully share her home with other cats when introductions are handled appropriately. She isn’t looking for a feline cuddle buddy or playmate, and if another kitty gets a little too close, Rose simply lets them know she’d prefer some personal space. We have not seen aggression from her — she just has boundaries and communicates them. Rose would thrive with someone who appreciates an independent cat and understands that trust doesn’t always happen overnight. Give her a comfortable place to settle in, allow her to move at her own pace, and let Rose show you the affectionate side she saves for the people she trusts. She didn’t choose to start over, but she deserves the chance to feel at home again ##2846257##
