Ce beau mâle tabby d’environ 4 ans a été trouvé errant, sans micropuce, après avoir probablement vécu longtemps à l’extérieur. À son arrivée, son pelage était sale et il portait plusieurs petites croûtes et blessures sur le corps, des signes qui témoignent d’une vie difficile et de nombreuses altercations avec d’autres chats. Malgré son passé difficile, il démontre une magnifique capacité à faire confiance et il demeure un véritable amour avec les humains. Il adorera faire partie de votre quotidien, c’est un vrai petit pot de colle. La stimulation par le jeu l’aidera à garder une bonne hygiène et à garder son instinct de chasseur. Minimousse est maintenant à la recherche d’une famille prête à lui offrir une nouvelle chance. Il faut se le dire : les chats mâles FIV sont souvent d’extraordinaires compagnons, très affectueux et attachants. Oui, Minimousse est positif au FIV, mais cela ne l’empêche absolument pas d’être en bonne santé, de vivre une longue et belle vie et de profiter pleinement de son quotidien. Le FIV se transmet principalement par des morsures profondes lors de bagarres. Comme Minimousse est maintenant stérilisé, qu’il vivra à l’intérieur et qu’il n’aura plus à défendre un territoire comme il devait le faire lorsqu’il était errant, le risque de transmission à d’autres chats est très faible. Avec des présentations progressives et des compagnons félins compatibles, il est tout à fait possible qu’il partage son foyer avec d’autres chats. Pour demeurer en forme, Minimousse devra recevoir une alimentation de qualité et bénéficier d’un suivi attentif de sa santé, particulièrement au niveau buccal. D’ailleurs, Minimousse a actuellement besoin de soins dentaires, qui seront entièrement pris en charge par le refuge. Sa future famille devra simplement s’engager à l’accompagner à son rendez-vous chez notre vétérinaire à Anjou, au moment prévu. Minimousse est un chat adulte, donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 310$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné, micropucé. Il est positif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF), mais négatif(ve) pour la leucose féline (FeLV). Despite his challenging past, Minimousse has shown an incredible ability to trust and is truly a sweetheart with people. He will love being part of your daily life — he is a real little shadow who enjoys being close to his humans. Playtime and mental stimulation will help him stay active, maintain good habits, and satisfy his natural hunting instincts. Minimousse is now looking for a family ready to give him a second chance. Let’s be honest: FIV-positive male cats are often some of the most wonderful companions, known for being affectionate and loving. Yes, Minimousse is FIV-positive, but this does not prevent him from being healthy, living a long and happy life, and enjoying every day to the fullest. FIV is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds during fights. Since Minimousse is now neutered, will live exclusively indoors, and will no longer need to defend a territory like he did when he was a stray, the risk of transmission to other cats is very low. With slow, proper introductions and compatible feline companions, it is absolutely possible for him to share his home with other cats. To stay healthy, Minimousse should receive a high-quality diet and have regular health monitoring, especially regarding his dental health.
