MEET COLLEEN!Colleen knows exactly who she is and honestly, that is something to respect. 2 year old Colleen will absolutely love you, just not all the time and strictly on her own terms. Her affection is the kind that is appointment only and there is a very limited window of availability. We don`t mean any of this in a negative way - Colleen is a wonderful, vibrant, and social girl! But we aren`t sure if she will ever be a lap cat and want to be honest about that (for both yours and Colleen`s sake.) It is part of her charm and we love her for it!In true Colleen fashion, she is not only particular about her affection schedule, but also about her cuisine. She has been thriving on a prescription Urinary diet and will need to stay on it to keep feeling her sassy best. This is but a small dietary commitment for a lifetime of quietly companionship.Colleen is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, current on prevention, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is independent, emotionally in-tune with her own needs, and feels that love is earned and not expected. For the right person, Colleen would be a calm presence, a respectful companion, and the most beautiful little bestie.Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
MEET HAMBY!My name is Hamby and I am a sweet and laid back 2 year old dude looking for a couch to crash on! I am the chillest of chill cats. While I might not be the kind of guy that is going to demand attention and affection all the time, I very happily accept love and scratches when you offer them! I really enjoy playing quietly with my toys and taking an extended cat nap when I finish a meal. I would be the purrfect companion to someone who just wants some quiet company and a few calming purrs in their life. While I haven`t been outright mean to the other kitties, my shelter family thinks I might be scared of them - I just freeze when I see another cat and sometimes begin to tremble. For this reason, I would most likely do best as an only cat or maybe with another cat that didn`t try and get in my face. I much prefer gentle and laid back people! I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Now, about that empty spot on the couch you have...?Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
I found her with her sister munchkin at work in the parking lot and rescued them. They were 7 weeks old so their one year birthday is coming up in mid July. Feisty is not actually feisty, she just missed a lot when trying to get her. She's the sweetest baby and loves to cuddle. She only likes fuzzy blankets. She loves to play with toys and loves fresh cardboard boxes. She's really good with all people of all ages. She does not like dogs at all. She does get very nosy if you have human food so keep an eye on her for that, I have never even given her human food. I'm looking for a home that will keep her inside since she was raised inside and will adopt her with her sister munchkin. They do not like being apart from each other.
