Story
This little boy was left behind when a neighbor moved away, 3 years ago. He is updated on all of his shots along with treatment for flea and ticks. He loves watching nature programs on TV. He is a very loving little boy and prefers to be the only pet. He is litter trained and of course very clean. He will from time to time get out the door but eventually will come right back to the door to get back inside. He is like every other cat, sensitive to rubbing on his belly and rear end. He loves to be brushed as long as "he" can control where and how long. He will allow his ears to be cleaned as well. He is also the typical cat in that he likes his time to himself, but as well loves to play. He is approximately 3 years old. I have covered him with Pumpkin Insurance which is very reasonable. One can take out their own insurance with this company. From being outdoors he has a nick or two. Waiting for someone to care for him!

Story
7 years old Willing to give some food and a litter box and her feeding bowls. Jasper was a kitten when I adopted her. When she first meets new people she is shy. Once Jasper gets used to you she will sit in your lap and loves to be brushed. Jasper is smart and like most cats , can open all my closets and cabinets. It is sometimes a fun game to figure out where she is hanging out. She is also a n escape artist and can open her cat carrier from the inside. Smart kitty. I have an extra large cat tree in front of a window. She loves to sit in the sun. My other cat is in a grain free food so that is all she has ever eaten. I love Jasper, I just have too many health issues and allergies to have a cat in my home. Willing to give you a litter box and some food

Story
Maya is 14 years old. She was born on a farm in Tennessee. I have had her since she was a kitten. She is very sweet. She likes to always be near you but doesn’t like to directly cuddle. She will follow you from room to room. She doesn’t like to be held or picked up for very long. Loves to be petted though! She also likes to wonder outside and eat grass. She is up to date on all shots. She is declawed on her front paws only. She also eats wet food or a mix of wet and dry. She doesn’t tolerate only dry food well. There are personal things going on where I don’t have the means to give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Meet Mittens, a sweet 5-year-old with a gentle demeanor, residing in a foster home in Charlotte, NC. Her person passed away recently, and her neighbors are taking care of her now but we're looking to find a good place for her to live. Despite her shy nature, Mittens loves to be around people, often seeking a quiet corner where she can feel safe while still being part of the family activities. Her friendly purrs and soft nuzzles make her a delightful companion, especially for those who appreciate the serene company of a feline friend. Mittens would thrive in a loving home where she can blossom at her own pace, bringing joy and tranquility to her new family.

Story
Meet this sweet and loyal boy! He is a loving, vocal cat who adores spending time with his favorite human and snuggling up for affection. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs, and though he may be shy with new people at first, once he feels comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality shines through. Story
MEET OLIVER!Oliver is a 4 year old jokester with SO MUCH to say! Oliver has the funniest monotone meow - think Gary from Spongebob, but even cuter because he is genuinely excited to talk to you. He also is kind of a neat freak and will groom our staff and volunteers almost as if to say `When was the last time you showered? You smell like an animal shelter!` Thanks, Oliver...Oli is a pretty laid back and chill guy who enjoys playing for a little, but would much prefer to patrol the premises and make sure everything is tidy and where it`s supposed to be. He isn`t really the clingy type - though he loves attention, getting scratched, and casual conversation, Oliver has a job to do and it is something he takes very seriously. He WILL however give you kisses right on your lips if you allow him (and yes... we do.) His love language is keeping the household together through vigilant security and moderated affection - come on, what more could you ask for?We do suspect that Oliver has hyperesthesia, which could be triggered by stress. We started him on a course of medicine once a day, which he happily takes in his food, and it`s been smooth sailing since with no issues! Although Oliver is FIV+, he can live a happy, healthy, normal life as long as he is kept indoors only and stays up to date with his vet, just like any other kitty!Oliver is neutered and up to date on vaccines and prevention. If you`re looking for someone who would love to bring some comfort and order to your life, you`ll have to meet Oliver!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
MEET ASHER!2 year old Asher was brought to our shelter with his brother, Archer, as trap, neuter, release (TNR) cats but we quickly realized that these guys were anything but feral!Asher, with his warm golden eyes and gentlly affectionate personality, is such a lovebug. When you approach these boys, you can`t pinpoint who is purring louder! Their adorable competition for headbutts usually ends up with them just headbutting each other. Asher is more forward and upfront with his affection, though he is extremely calm and gentle with his outright desire for attention. He has tested well with other cats at the shelter, so we believe he would do wonderfully as a single cat or as an addition to an existing cat inclusive family! Archer and Asher are not bonded, so they do not need to be adopted together.Asher is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and current on prevention. All he needs is a forever home to purr his way into!Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. Story
MEET WALDO!It`s Waldo`s world and we`re just living in it! Meet Waldo, the 1 year old wild and wacky boy looking for love. Where`s Waldo? Probably doing zoomies in the next room. He is part comedian, part cuddlebug, but all chaos in the BEST way. He is too cute to be as unhinged as he is, and that is one of the many reasons we love him so much. He is a whirlwind of whiskers and love - he will steal your heart, your toys, possibly your food, and most likely your stray socks. Why be boring when you can grab life by the ankles and bunny kick it?Waldo doesn`t as why - he asks why not? Why not run to the top of a cat tower and free fall off just for fun. Why not check the structural integrity of every window ledge in the house just for chuckles and grins? Why sleep when there is so much fun (and mischief) to have? This man of mystery will keep you laughing and wondering why you ever took life so seriously. The world would be a much better place with more Waldo`s around!Waldo is FIV positive, but you`d be kidding yourself if you thought ANYTHING could slow this guy down. He is spry, goofy, and here for both a good time and a long time. Waldo is up to date on vaccines and prevention, neutered, and looking for a home to crash (literally.) You have got to meet this boy for yourself - this will all make sense in person.Complete an adoption survey at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey.
