Meet Corsa!Corsa came into the shelter march 4th, she was previously found as a kitten at True Value and had been in a foster home. Corsa loves meeting people. She wants to be snuggled and craves the attention; she demands it. She loves to play with toys, she isn’t picky either, she loves all toys. Her foster home had other cats and she did great with them; she would be very happy in a home with other cat friends to spend her day with. The staff say that Corsa is the sweetest baby ever! Meet Stewart!Stewart came into the shelter February 4th transferred from another shelter that was not able to care for him medically. He came into their shelter with a front paw that was swollen almost 3 times the normal size. After a visit to the vet, it was determined that it was not broken but that he had possibly gotten into a scuffle with another animal or hung up on something which caused punctures, swelling and ultimately an abscess. He immediately went into surgery to have the wounds cleaned up and a week later, he’s just about as good as new. We want to note that Stewart is FIV+ so he must go to a strictly indoor home.Stewart is very friendly; he loves people and loves to give headbutts during a good pet sesh. This guy is a shelter favorite! The staff says that he is the purrfect companion. He is always in the mood to talk, purr, snuggle or just take naps. We all love Buddha. He`s a shelter favorite. Buddha is an older cat who is FIV+. He`s spent 3 years in the shelter now, during which time he has charmed us all. He`s a big, smart, confident cat who clearly lived on the streets a long time.He`s the type of cat that likes being petted-until he doesn`t anymore. He doesn`t like dogs, especially big males (most likely from bad experiences in his past) but if you introduce him nicely to one, train either animal to respect boundaries, and use patience in monitoring Buddha with a dog, then he is good and lets them be.This rugged beast is picky about his cat friends and loves to be super affectionate so being the only pet is his ideal home, so this little gargoyle gets all the attention.Buddha loves his people, but you`ll have to put up with the occasional love bite. He really has a personality and is not a wallflower.
