New places and changes can make her a little nervous at first, so she may need some time to settle in and learn her new routine. Once she realizes she's safe, though, the walls start coming down. Wasabi happily accepts pets, and it doesn't take long before her little **purr motor is revved up and running!** 🥰 She's small in stature, gentle in nature, and absolutely adorable. Wasabi isn't looking for someone who expects her to be the life of the party on day one—she's looking for someone who will give her a little patience and let her sweet personality come out at her own pace. 🐾 Meet Chester! Chester is a sweet little kitten who got a pretty rough introduction to humans. Born into a feral cat community, he was lucky enough to be rescued by a kind man who took him in and started teaching him one very important lesson: not all people suck. 🥹 And Chester is learning! In the home where he feels safe, he’s becoming more trusting, playful, and curious. With new people and unfamiliar situations, though, Chester is still a scared little guy. He may hide, keep his distance, or need some time before he decides you’re trustworthy — and when he moves into his forever home, we expect he’ll need an adjustment period before you see the playful kitten underneath. Chester is looking for a patient, understanding family who won’t rush him and will let him build trust at his own pace. He has met other cats and done well with them, so a confident feline friend may even help him settle in. He has not been around dogs, so we don’t know how he would feel about them. He is litterbox trained and ready for a home of his own. ❤️ Chester might not be the kitten who climbs into your lap five minutes after you meet him — but give him safety, patience, and a little time, and you’ll get the privilege of watching him realize that he’s finally home. 🐾

🐾 Meet Liberty! 🤍 Liberty is finally coming out of her shell, and we’re getting to see more and more of the sweet girl who’s been hiding underneath all that uncertainty. ❤️ After spending much of her time with us as a very shy girl, foster care has given Liberty the chance to decompress and learn that people—and home—can be safe. And she’s making some pretty big strides! Liberty now lets her foster pet her all over and has discovered that butt scritches are actually pretty fantastic. 😂 She’s still a little uneasy about being held, but even that is improving as her confidence grows. She’s still not the type of cat who will walk into a new home and immediately act like she pays the mortgage. Liberty likes to observe, settle in, and decide for herself that everything is okay. Once she does, though, her affectionate side starts to come through. 🤍 Liberty would thrive with a calm, patient family who understands that she may need a little time to adjust. Give her love without pressure and let her move at her own pace, and you’ll get the privilege of watching this shy girl continue to blossom.
