With his torn ear, old scars, and worn-down face, it’s pretty clear Tony has had to survive more than his fair share. He also has a few broken canine teeth from his rough past. The Amarillo shelter veterinarian assessed his teeth and did not feel extraction was necessary at this time, though his future family should monitor for any signs of discomfort or difficulty eating as he ages. And despite everything? This boy is an absolute sweetheart. Tony LOVES being pet. The second you start giving him attention, he melts into it. He’s the kind of cat who seems genuinely grateful to finally be safe and cared for. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a soft place to land and someone who will love him exactly as he is.
