Luna is a 12 year old sweetheart who found her way back to Homeward Bound, WV through no fault of her own, along with her brother Parker. Initially the siblings needed each other for support during this major transition, but after some time in her foster home, Luna has blossomed into an independent cat. Although she would like to be adopted with her brother, it is not required. Luna would prefer a quiet, calm home with lots of time to shower her with attention. She adores to be pet and goes nuts for a good spa day - being brushed is her favorite thing in the world and helps her keep up with her soft, beautiful fur. Luna isn’t afraid to ask for attention and she has the cutest and most unique meow her foster mom has ever heard. All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control, and have been spayed/neutered.  Adoption fee is $120. If you are interested in this sweetie, please fill out the adoption application on our website http://www.homewardboundwv.org For more information, please email us at adopt@homewardboundwv.org Thank you!October 18, 2026, 9:18 am

Meet Snorkel! This handsome little dude may have had a rough start, but he is ready to anchor himself right into your heart... and hopefully your home! Snorkel was found dumped by the river when he was just a tiny baby. Thankfully, he has traded his outdoor adventures for the good life indoors and has adjusted PERFECTLY! Unfortunately, his time outside left him with a nasty infection that caused some scarring to one of his eyes. The good news? Snorkel has been checked out by a veterinarian, still has vision in that eye, and is absolutely no worse for the wear! And don't let his past fool you—this boy is ALL kitten!  Snorkel loves spending his days chasing crinkle balls, zooming through his cat tunnel, and wrestling with his siblings. When playtime is over, he's ready to snuggle up and soak in all the attention and affection he can get!  Snorkel is estimated to have been born May 27, 2026. He gets along great with cats, dogs, and people, making him the perfect addition to just about any crew!
