Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Olivia loves her cat tree. It's her safe space and she generally only comes down to eat and use the litter box. She loves other cats and is BFFs with her foster mom’s cat, and loves to watch the birds from the window. She is quite a talker and she'll have full conversations back and forth with you. She likes pets but gets scared easily so would do best in a quieter home with a patient family.  She has two different colored eyes.  Olivia is about 2 years old. All of our cats and kittens are examined by a veterinarian, Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, dewormed for internal parasites, checked for external parasites, current on heartworm prevention/flea control, and have been spayed/neutered.  Adoption fee is $120. If you are interested in this sweetie, please fill out the adoption application on our website http://www.homewardboundwv.org For more information, please email us at adopt@homewardboundwv.org Thank you!September 22, 2023, 11:02 am

She loves to be pet. She doesn't mind getting picked up but doesn't like to be held for long. She has come a long way since being trapped and will get better with a little patience. Good with cats,
Story
Vapor just turned a year old. She was found at a local restaurant, and three weeks after she came into the rescue, she delivered kittens. She loves to play but can be a bit rough. She loves to attack things that move under blankets. For this reason, we would suggest she doesn't go to a home with younger children. Otherwise, she is a great cat, loves to be pet (for as long as she wants).  She gets along with other cats. She loves to lay in the windowsill and watch the birds outside. Her favorite toy would be an old T-shirt that she uses like a kicker. She also likes catnip mice, chasing laser dots, and spring toys. Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Skinny showed up at my house and kept returning. I have 17 cats and I figured she was in heat. I only have 1 Tom that is not neutered, and he is strictly in the house only. I got her in a cage and transported her to my vet to be spayed. They had to do an abortion as well, since she was already pregnant. She is about 10 months to a year old. She is very loving to her people. She does not like to share you with other cats. She will hiss, growl a little, and swat at all my other cats. She does not like to be held, but will roll around and grab/hold your hand to get pets and head scratches. She is all black with a small slash of white on her chest. I need to find her a great home where she will get lots of love and attention. My 12 year old cat does not want to come home with Skinny here. She only goes to someone with a good vet reference and time to give her what she needs. She would be a great best friend to an older child (12+), a teenager or young adult, as well as for a retiree.

She loves all the other cats in her foster home and would love to have another kitty in her new home. Popper does have what we believe is a food allergy so has to be on a prescription diet. She was a bottle fed kitten (along with her 3 siblings who have all been adopted) since about 3 weeks old and she is now 8 months old. Popper will need a special home that will make sure she gets her prescription food from the vet. She has had some digestive issues but her new food has made her feel much better. Popper is a sweet girl and gets along great with all the other cats in her foster home and ignores the dogs. Popper is fully vaccinated, flea treated, microchipped and spayed.
