Peekaboo is a tender hearted 6 year old female whose eyes peek right into your soul. Peekaboo's owner recently and unexpectedly passed away, and after a very difficult and stressful month without an owner, she is currently now recovering and readjusting to normalcy in foster care.Peekaboo is fully indoors, spayed, in good health, and has lived her life in a household with 6 other cats.All cats handle loss differently. Peekaboo took refuge in stillness and isolation, seeking low stimulation, comforting hiding spots like atop the basement furnace.A gentle cat like Peekaboo who shows such a high emotional capacity for mourning is one who is also capable of a profound love and kinship. And this has really begun to show through after being taken into foster care. Her warm, affectionate nature is shining again. There is no greater reward than the warm appreciation and love she expresses for saving her and giving her a new home.
