Story
Kate has quite a story.  In 2015, Kate was part of an at-risk feral colony.  She and five others were humanely trapped.  They were hissy, lunged and wanted nothing to do with humans.  In time, however, each found loving, forever homes.  Kate was the last to tame.  But 2018, she was adopted.  While her home was loving, it wasn't forever.  The woman who adopted her developed health issues. In 2022, Katie was back at the shelter.  It's been five years since Katie's shelter days.  She has gained some weight but still has her very expressive, big, round eyes.  Now she likes to be petted for short periods of time. She'll even gives head bumps!  She always liked other cats and still does.  Her favorite things are eating, playing laser light and looking out the window.  We can't guarantee that Katie will ever be a lap cat, but we can promise she'll be a great companion and appreciate every day in her forever home. In 2015, we promised that group of feral cats that we would find them loving, forever homes.   Please help us keep that promise to Katie!  Maybe you're the one who can make Katie's wish come true! Pumpkin (9/1/23) and her daughters, which we have named “The Spice Girls” came to Pet Search when her kittens were only 4 days old. They were raised in a foster home and Pumpkin was.an excellent mother, but now it is time for them to all sing their way into your hearts through adoption! The Spice Girls (8/28/25) Ginger, Nutmeg and Cinnamon are ready for families of their own. They are all felv/fiv, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Bernadette is one of our "Friends colony cats...this sweet girl was abandoned with her 3 week old babies mid March... her boys (the three stooges-Moe, Larry and Curly were recently adopted and Bernadette had now been spayed. She is felv/fiv negative and fully vaccinated. She was in foster care with her boys and socialized with other cats, a small dog and a child. She is very sweet and gentle.
