Sha`Carri is a Barn Cat! We are looking for cat lovers who have a barn or other secure outdoor structure and are interested in adopting cats that are not suitable for life inside of a house or are unhappy living inside. Cat temperaments range from feral to friendly. This program is designed to find homes for cats that have traditionally been deemed un-adoptable through normal shelter adoption procedures. These cats are healthy, sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and in need of a warm and secure home, such as a barn, stable, garage, or warehouse. These are working cats; former street cats that are used to outdoor life and prefer minimal to no human contact. They will happily tend to any mouse, mole, chipmunk, or vermin problems for the low cost of a bowl of cat food and water set out daily, as needed veterinary care, and shelter in a garage or barn. Because we spay/neuter these cats before they leave ECCHA, adopters don`t have to worry about endless litters of kittens! Adopt, Foster, Educate, Advocate!

My name may be wintery, but I`m not cold at all! Hi, I`m Ice, and I came to ECCHA as a surrender with my daughters, Smokey and Chungus. I am a very curious, sweet, and crazy little lady. I love to luxuriate in attention, especially good chin and neck scritches! I also love to indulge in catnip from time to time... or all the time, if I have any say in the matter! I also love to roll around and just have a good time. I do seem to be a bit frightened of loud noises. I did live with other cats in my former home, but we don`t know how I do with dogs. If you have any pets at home, please introduce me slowly. I am not yet spayed, but have my appointment with a great program that is coming to ECCHA on 3/26! I can go home after that is completed, but still apply and come meet to see if we are a match in the meantime. I`d like to find a playful home where I can get lots of love and entertainment!
