Story
Hi everyone! I’m Gideon! I was another stray that the infamous Carol Blan helped save! When I was rescued, I weighed only 38 pounds. I’m now getting much-needed nourishment & it’s helping me put on weight & I feel better every day! I am extremely gentle but not necessarily needy. My foster mom says I’m going to be someone’s soul dog. I don’t know what that means but it sounds like a pretty important role! I love being petted, & I especially like putting my front paws in my two legged foster brother’s lap. My foster mom is super proud of how gentle I am when I do it. My favorite foster canine sibling is Lizzie, although I enjoy my canine brother Max, too! Max loves to play with me, but he’s a little frustrated about sharing his home with another male dog. Since I’m such a passive guy, if he gets jealous, I just quietly go the other way. No drama from me! I’ve discovered that toys are pretty fun. I’ll fetch & play ball, but honestly, I’d rather tussle around & get my canine foster siblings to chase me. I’m also a good boy at mealtime. I’ve tried to sneak over to check out the other dogs’ bowls, but a simple correction is all it takes to remind me that I have my own dinner. 😉 My two legged foster brother, Terry, has this interesting thing called a guitar. I used to sing along but now I’ve decided I just like to listen. My foster mom says I’m extremely gentle and I come when called. I hope you will ask to meet me! Love, Gideon

Story
Sarah was the most severely emotionally damaged dog we pulled out of the felony animal cruelty case in Jacksonville, AR on April 12, 2025. She was absolutely in fight or flight mode. She does have a human bite history from when an animal control officer surprised her by coming up behind her and grabbing her hips to try and lift her into the vehicle. She was focused on me who had her leash and was not expecting them to touch her. After a mandatory bite quarantine we had a professional behavioral assessment done. They expressed her reactions are all fear based. She is not aggressive but she does have certain triggers that make her absolutely terrified. Once a solid bond of trust is established, like I have made with her, she can be worked with. She is highly food motivated (which makes sense after being starved to near death in a tiny bedroom with 20 other dogs) and that can be used to form the bond. She is very soft and accepts pets once she trusts you. She is potty pad trained! We’re working on walking on a leash. Something about having a collar put over her head terrifies her and we’re still working on that. I’ve been able to bathe her and pick her up and crate her and get her to the vet. She has had all her shots and been spayed and microchipped. Any interested adopter will need to be willing to go slow and put in the work and agree to not put her into a situation that she’s likely to fail. I’ve worked too hard on her to go backwards from someone else not being careful. She’s a special dog to me and has boatloads of potential.

Story
Meet Mama Molly! This brindle girl is as sweet as she is stunning! She adores everyone she meets, greeting them with happy full-body wiggles. She is the perfect balance of playful and snuggle bug, loving to play hard then take breaks to cuddle. Besides people, Molly loves other dogs, cushy dog beds, squeaky toys, and food! She is crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. Now that Mama Molly has had her LAST litter of puppies, are you ready to welcome this gorgeous, gentle pup into your family and home? Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (ncludes transport to your area)
