Monkey is everybody's favorite! He is a goofy fun-loving family pet ready to hit the road running. Monkey loves to play and he will be a super fun park and hike buddy, would love to run and play at Chrissy Field or Point Isabel. He's never even seen a beach..wouldn't you like to be the one to break him in on Bay area beaches? Here's what his foster mom says: "He makes you forget your worries with his bubbly personality. Monkey walks great on leash, knows sit, is sweet-tempered, and nonreactive to cats/dogs!" "He also LOVES playing with toys and will bring them back to you. He’s so fun and very playful. Monkey will make a wonderful family dog since he’s so lighthearted." Check out Monkey's video with kids, toddlers, other dogs..he is perfect! A real jewel and family-ready! Our foster to adopt plan is perfect to segue flawlessly into adopting a forever friend.

Story
Meet Sasha – Our Sweet Survivor Ready to be Part of a Single-Dog Loving Home! Sasha is a one-year-old brindle American Terrier mix bursting with love and joyful energy! She adores belly rubs, long walks, splashing around in water, camping, car rides, and most of all, snuggling up with her people. Sasha is the ultimate companion; she’ll keep you company while you cook, settle by your side as you work, and snuggle up close for movie nights. Her journey is a true “rags to riches” story. At just six months old she was found starving in a California alley, abandoned in a kennel chained to a pole. With a body score of one, she was skin and bones barely hanging onto life. And to top it off, the initial shelter that picked her up deemed her unadoptable and gave her 72 hours until euthanization. Working with Pack Lyfe Rescue, we quickly stepped up to commit to giving her a better life and gave Sasha her first cross-country road trip to bring this sweet girl home to Minnesota. Today, Sasha’s days are filled with the warmth of a loving home, cozy beds, endless pets, and delicious treats. For the past eight months, Sasha has been sharing her life with three cats, another dog, and all the humans she loves. Sasha is truly part of our family. We love Sasha and wish more than anything that she could stay with us forever. She’s such an amazing girl, however, her wonderful puppy energy has been a bit too much for our resident dog, who’s eight years old and set in her ways. While Sasha and her “sister” have bonded beautifully and get along well most of the time, there have been a few incidents where our older pup’s quick temper has triggered intense disagreements between the two. It breaks our hearts, but because of this we believe Sasha will thrive as the only dog in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. And there's even more to adore about Sasha! She's fully potty trained and incredibly smart, knowing lots of commands like sit, stay, lay down, turn around, and heel. Sasha is so attentive and well-mannered that she’ll even sit patiently, waiting for the “okay” before diving into her dinner. She’s eager to learn, loves making her people proud, and is always ready to show off her good-girl skills! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and adventurous friend, Sasha is ready to be the light of your life. Let’s find this amazing girl the forever family she so deserves!March 8, 2026, 12:21 am

Story
Meet Winnie also known as “Prowler”. This girl is a 1yr old couch potato with lots of love to give! Her dream day is sleeping in until 10am, going for an easy morning walk, then back home for breakfast and to nap followed up with a bone to chew on until dinner time. She is ✨perfect✨ on leash; never pulls or barks and does not mind dogs passing by. Winnie has never had a potty accident and will always go stand by the door when she has to go potty. She is the most low maintenance dog you will ever meet! Her foster mama owns horses and Winnie does a great job at staying by her side and watching out for big hooves clomping around. With a rough start to life, Winnie was brought in as a stray who was limping around the countryside with her brother, Hambone. X-rays show BB gun pellets inside her that tells us she was shot at some point in her life. Since then, Winnie has received all the love in the world along with her surgery to repair her dislocated hip from being hit by a car. Winnie is the most grateful girl in the world. All she wants is a comfy couch, her people to cuddle up with, and a walk to sniff around twice a day. Winnie does well with cats. She has not met children but is suspected to do fine. Prowler might do fine with other dogs after a slow introduction, she likes being left alone. Will make sure she stays away from the dogs but if approaches, will defend herself. She doesn’t mind my parents dog who she hangs out with when I am working in office (3x a week). As long as the dog gives space, she is happy. Winnie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you're interested in Winnie please fill out an application and a volunteer will reach out within one business day, betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application
