**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Zsa Zsa is a special little girl! She is beautiful, with just the most strikingly gorgeous bridle pattern. She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. Zsa Zsa is outgoing and confident. She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you. ? Zsa Zsa is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Zsa Zsa is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. No long distance. Certainly no out of state. I cannot respond to questions as to whether the animal is available. Please DO NOT contact me asking if the animal is available. A home check and a background check are MANDATORY to be considered. If you are unable or unwilling to consent to these requirements, please do not apply. An adoption interview Is REQUIRED. One of our volunteers must meet and observe the dog interact with every member of the household, including pets. Preference will be given to individuals who follow the instructions AND provide complete information for adoption purposes. 1) Please go to our website ( http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html ) 2) submit it online. Must include dog’s name and “forward to Kim” under pet’s name 3) then forward the confirmation email to me directly at animalsandkim@gmail.com That’s it: easy Peezy! Kona is turning 5 years old. She is a very lively and loving dog, and is truly loyal. She is super friendly to other people and tends to try lick their faces. Kona loves her treats and toys (Mainly treats as she is very treat motivated). I’m looking for a home for her that is truly going to cherish her and welcome her to a family. I have a hard time letting go of her, but I believe she needs to find a home as I am in the Marine Corps, and I feel guilty and selfish that I can barely spend time with her.

We adopted Camden after losing our baby late into our first pregnancy. We did this to pour our love into a creature that needed us. He is such a loving dog, he is smart, loyal and protective. It’s his protective nature that we are now struggling with. We became pregnant again and this time around brought twins into our world. This has created an insecure/protective nature that we can’t tame. Thankfully it’s protective of the babies and of my wife. However this makes it hard when we have guest over or are out with the boys and Camden. Camden belongs with active individuals who hike, run, and have a backyard that he can enjoy. He needs a home where he can receive attention, affection and also have an outlet. We unfortunately cannot provide this. He is a wonderful family dog, just needs a better fit.

Indio was around the shelter for two years, neglected by his former owners, we decided to give him a space in the shelter when he started playing among the cars on the road. In the midst of danger we were able to get him to safety, and he currently has his full vaccination schedule, microchipped and neutered, ready for his new home. He is a very faithful, intelligent, calm and very sociable dog. He was raised with other dogs and cats, so he makes him a good companion for any family, he likes to go for a walk on a leash, cuddles, receive prizes and learns very quickly. He is an affectionate companion, ideal for a family with children and cats, who wants to give him the love he deserves. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego
