We are looking for a calm, loving home for our 14-year-old dog. He’s a sweet senior who enjoys relaxing, being around people, and having a quiet environment. He would do best with someone patient who understands older dogs and can give him comfort and attention during his golden years. He still has love to give and deserves a home where he can be spoiled and cared for. He’s house trained, low energy, and happiest just lounging nearby. We want to make sure he goes to someone kind who will give him the peaceful home he deserves.

Meet Millie! This sweet, 6-year-old hound mix was rescued from a rural county shelter in February. As soon as she arrived at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Millie got caught up on medical care, including spay surgery, heartworm treatment, and a dental cleaning. She even had surgery to correct cherry eye, an eyelid abnormality that she had likely been living with for years before she was rescued. Now, Millie feels like a new dog, healthier and happier than ever! She only needs one thing to make her transformation complete: a loving family! Millie's foster family describes her as loyal, loving, and mellow. She enjoys meeting other dogs and spending quality time with her humans. Ready to meet Millie? Sweet Betty came to us from another rescue friend. She was a stray who gave birth under a woman’s mobile home. The woman was feeding her, but the cold weather was coming in fast and they wouldn’t make it out in the cold. Betty and her babies made it to us in warm South Florida and have been thriving. All the pups have been adopted and it’s Betty’s turn! She is very shy, but super chill. She loves to chase the squirrels and make sure they don’t come down out of the trees into her yard! When she’s not chasing squirrels she’s napping. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention.
