When she arrived, she was overweight and had a large mass that required medical attention. After care and recovery, Scarlett is now healed and ready to begin her next chapter in a loving home. Scarlett is a very sweet, gentle girl with a low to moderate energy level. She would be well suited for a quieter household and could do well in an apartment or condo setting where she can enjoy a relaxed routine. Like many hounds, Scarlett is still learning polite leash manners and will benefit from continued practice and patience on walks. She does well with other dogs and enjoys calm companionship. At this time, we have not yet observed her interactions with children or cats, so slow, thoughtful introductions would be important in a home with either. Scarlett is looking for a kind, understanding family who will appreciate her gentle nature and give her the comfort and stability she deserves.

Toe-bias arrived to us as a transfer from California on April 11th, 2026, and this sweet boy is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. Toe-bias can be shy and timid when first meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, but once he has a chance to settle in and feel safe, his gentle and friendly personality starts to shine through. He does especially well with other dogs and seems to take comfort in their presence, often becoming more relaxed and social once he’s had time to calm down. He would do best with a patient adopter who can give him the time and reassurance he needs to feel secure. A quieter environment and steady routine will help Toe-bias continue to grow in confidence and show what a sweet companion he truly is.
