I’m a 6-month-old bundle of wiggles and love who was rescued in Terrebonne Parish. Life threw me a curveball when I had to have one of my eyes removed, but don’t worry—it doesn’t slow me down at all! I’m a cute plott hound mix!Hi, I’m Killian – your future best friend! 🐶✨Don’t mind my one eye, I think it just makes me extra unique (and super handsome, if I do say so myself). I’m a puppy which means I love to play, bounce around, and explore everything! But once I’ve had my fun, I’m all about curling up close for some cuddle time.I get along great with other dogs and older kids, and I’d be so happy to have a buddy to play with. I haven’t met any cats or little kids yet, so I can’t tell you what I think about them.Right now I’m working on my kennel training. I’m still a puppy, so I’m learning as I go! With a little patience, I’ll keep getting better and better.So if you’re looking for a goofy, snuggly, one-of-a-kind pup who will love you forever, pick me, Killian! Roman is a 3-year-old Plott Hound, weighing about 58 pounds. He’s brindle, vaccinated, and he is currently heartworm positive but our clinic offers discounted treatment to get him back to his best self. He is not neutered yet, but it is covered by his adoption fee and it only takes 2-5 days before he is good to go to his forever home! Roman is a calm, observant dog who prefers to take his time getting to know new people. Once he’s comfortable, he shows affection in a quiet, genuine way. He walks very well on a leash and has a steady, composed presence. While his temperament is laid back, Roman still enjoys activity and would do well in a home with a large yard where he can stretch his legs and explore at his own pace. He’ll thrive with someone who appreciates his thoughtful nature and is willing to give him the space he needs to build trust. If you’re looking for a loyal, even-tempered companion, Roman is worth meeting.
