Meet Nora! 🩷 Born on Easter Sunday, Nora is a beautiful Plott Hound mix looking for her forever family! Her mama, Holly, is a purebred Plott Hound, but we aren’t sure who dad was. Mom weighs about 45 pounds, and we expect Nora to be a medium-to-large-sized dog when fully grown. Nora is already doggie-door trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. She is still working on her potty training but is doing fantastic for her age and has quickly learned how to use the doggie door. This social butterfly has been raised with kids, cats, and dogs and loves everyone she meets. She adores toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and would love a home with a canine companion to help burn off her puppy energy. Nora is an active puppy, and because she is likely mixed with a working breed, she would thrive with an active, outdoorsy family committed to providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, and training. She is smart, eager to learn, and has all the makings of an amazing family dog. Nora requires a home with a yard and is not available to apartment or condo living. Due to her age, Nora will go home as a Foster-to-Adopt. Her adoptive family must be willing to bring her back to our veterinarian for her remaining puppy vaccines, microchip, and spay surgery when age-appropriate. These appointments are included and scheduled through the rescue. All resident dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines with no exceptions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy and lifelong companion, Nora may be the perfect match for you! 🐾💕

Meet Holly!! Holly is a beautiful Plott Hound mix who found herself at a Nevada shelter while heavily pregnant. We welcomed her into our rescue, and she was able to safely deliver and raise her beautiful babies. Now it’s finally Holly’s time to shine! Holly is a petite girl at about 42 pounds. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and does well with other dogs and cats, although kitties do intimidate her a little at first. Even though Holly has hound in her, she is not vocal — but she can climb like you wouldn’t believe! She is very intelligent, incredibly loving, and basically a 40-pound lap dog. Holly loves giving hugs and kisses and will happily crawl right into your lap for love. Holly is looking for a Foster To Adopt home that can take her to her upcoming spay appointment in June. After everything this sweet girl has been through, she deserves a forever home where she can finally be spoiled the way she deserves. Although Holly loves kids, she would do best in a home with children ages eight and over as she is still working on manners and it’s not very gentle at taking treats, but she’s working on it!! ***The best*** dog ever, Wilbur is READY FOR ADOPTION!!!!!! I'm not joking when I say *the best*. He loves everyone and everything- dogs, cats, kids, adults, elderly... He is crate trained, potty trained.. he should probably be a therapy-dog. Wilbur is maybe a year or so old? He's a young guy with so much love to give. His literal only downfall is that he has hip issues. But, since coming to his foster home, his hips have gotten SO MUCH stronger- you can't even really tell. He runs, he plays, he lives life to the fullest. We will send him home with some joint supplement to keep him on the right path and will assist with his hip-related issues for his entire life. But Wilbur is so absolutely perfect, he deserves to find his furever home! Here's what his foster mamma has to say: "So handsome. His hip is getting so much stronger. No amputation no cancer, just a genetic hip dysplasia issue he'll always have. He's ready for adoption! Super sweet, super submissive, loves EVERYONE [dogs, cats, people, kids], NOT a runner...he actually prefers to be on a leash. The perfect home would have a nice sized yard and, hopefully, another dog around his age [1-4 years] so he can run and play play play. He's Plott hound and pit bull mix. Just a really really good boy. Potty trained, loves his crate, up to date on vaccines, and neutered." If you're interested in meeting Wilbur, please reach out to us.
