Ruby is about 7 years young... lots of energy. She needs lots of space and attention. She loves people. She has been doing well with our 2 senior dogs, but has been playing rough with them and hurting them. It’s not in a malicious way, just a playful way, but my other 2 dogs are small and old. She would love a small family that can spend more time with her. She loves being with you always. She is not destructive, except for socks..lol. She loves socks!!! She is very lovable, knows some commands. Thank you

Meet Missy! 🐶 Missy is a 3-year-old Bloodhound who came to our shelter after being surrendered because she was not getting along with another dog in her previous home. She would do best as the only dog in the household. Her previous owner shared that Missy does not like cats and will chase them, so a cat-free home is a must. Car rides make her nervous, but once she’s settled at home, she’s a loving and loyal companion. Missy already knows her basic manners—she can sit, stay, and shake—and she absolutely loves kids, making her a wonderful family dog for the right household. Like most Bloodhounds, she sheds quite a bit, so adopters should be prepared for plenty of fur. Missy can resource guard her toys, so she will need an adopter who understands this behavior and can manage it appropriately with structure, training, and supervision. With her goofy charm, affectionate nature, and classic Bloodhound personality, Missy is ready to be someone’s one-and-only best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal, kid-loving companion and don’t mind a little drool and shedding, Missy might be your perfect match! 🐾💙
