Story
Welcome Zeus to CCPAL Foster Program. Zeus is a 18-month old 70 pound Plot Hound/Medium Terrier blend dog. He was abandonded by his owners when they moved and left him at the house they moved from. He was tied up to the porch. Good Samaritans spotted him and were feeding him and giving him water until they realized the owners weren’t coming back. Zeus is now in foster home waiting for his new forever home. He is great on a leash and not leash reactive. He is good in a crate and he likes car rides. He is attentive, smart and potty trained. He is overall a wonderful dog and is not food aggressive or reactive with his bowl. He would make a wonderful outdoor enthusiast a great companion. He would make a perfect man dog. He looks tough but he is not at all how he looks. He would make a great family dog if the man works out of the house. His looks would make the family feel secure even if he loves everyone. He is a lower shedding dog with a nice soft coat. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet ROCKY-courtesy post ROCKY 9 yrs young 85-90lbs This handsome boy is not with our rescue, but he’s still in need of a loving home. He would not do well in a shelter environment, so we’re hoping we can help! Poor Rocky’s owner passed away, and he is very, very sad. He is a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle with his people. He is smart, loving & loyal. Rocky loves to play in the yard, go for walks and loves to go for car rides. He would love a quieter home without kids, but teenagers are okay! He is not a fan of other dogs, but has done well with dog savvy cats. If interested in this sweet boy, please contact JEN-603-566-8500 or jmol3125@gmail.com
