Story
Meet Daisy! 🌼🐾 Daisy is the kind of girl who will steal your heart without even trying. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and just plain fun to have around! Daisy came to us with her puppies and was the most devoted mama, but now that her babies are grown, it’s finally Daisy’s turn to be spoiled! This girl has discovered that toys are pretty awesome—especially stuffies! Daisy loves to grab her favorite stuffy, toss it up in the air, chase it down, and entertain herself with it. Watching her play is guaranteed to make you smile! Daisy is great with other dogs and kids and walks nicely on a leash. She can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give her a little time (and maybe a few treats), and her sweet personality shines through. She’s gentle, playful, affectionate, and ready to enjoy life as someone's beloved companion instead of always being the mama. Daisy has given so much love to everyone around her. Now she’s ready for a family who will give all that love back! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Men are from Mars :0 Remember that theory? Men from Mars and women from Venus?? So I AM MARS!! lol and I am a male!! SO MISUNDERSTOOD!! (all women rolling their eyes :) I am a big puppy... At the rescue again after being adopted in 2020!! :( I was returned by my "family" for something the rescue did before i left as a puppy- socialize me... SO, this is the thing... when you adopt a puppy especially, take the time to SOCIALIZE them all different situations and all different people and other animals.... it is your responsibility. WE committed to Mars so if his "family" gave up on him, we would not! He is back with the rescue and looking for his FOREVER HOME! Do NOT apply to adopt him if you are not committed to him, cause he deserves better!! He is a sweet and loving guy, active and BIG so must be a good leader and must keep him happy and exercised and loved!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a fun loving companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog disease." and we have JUST the cure for you!!! I am a DOC :) Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living.... here is what one of my admirers has to say about me ;) "Doc is a super playful dude and is soo happy to meet everyone he sees and just is an overall bouncing bundle of joy. He loves walks, pets and scratches, and loves to do sprints with you. When you're walking he will walk slightly ahead of you and is super excited to meet everyone. He'll try to pull but once he realizes you are not coming too fast he will do this cute little hop thing where he bounces between his front paws and his back paws, its adorable" That is quite an admirer, right??? If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Mermaid 5 months (4/8/26 birthday) Spayed female Labeled as a plot hound mix 22 lbs and growing! MERMAID HAS SWUM HER WAY INTO OUR HEARTS! She came all the way from Laredo, Texas, and she is officially ready to show everyone what life outside of a shelter is supposed to be like! Mermaid is the perfect combination of playful puppy and professional cuddle buddy. She loves going outside, exploring the yard, playing with toys, and discovering all the fun things that come with being a puppy in a home. And after spending the first part of her life in a shelter, you can tell she is LOVING her new life. A soft bed? YES! Toys? YES! A yard to run around in? ABSOLUTELY! A family to love? That's what she's looking for! She's also doing AMAZING with her house and crate training. Mermaid sleeps through the entire night in her crate and does great spending good stretches of time there during the day when needed. She's proving to be one smart little girl! And because Mermaid doesn't believe in limiting her friend group, she's DOG FRIENDLY AND CAT FRIENDLY! She's ready to meet everyone and make some new furry friends. Mermaid is still just a puppy, so she's got plenty of learning, playing, zoomies and adventures ahead of her — but she's also perfectly happy to curl up beside you when the day's adventures are over. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, cuddly little girl to add some four-legged fun to your life, Mermaid might just be your perfect match! Mermaid is ready to stop being a foster dog and start being someone's forever dog. Who wants to help this sweet girl find her happily ever after? Story
Fernie is an adorable little girl with a curious mind, a cautious heart, and the sweetest wiggle-butt you’ll ever see! She may be a puppy, but Fernie has grown up surrounded by a pack of older, well-trained dogs—and she has learned a thing or two about being a good canine citizen. Since birth, Fernie has lived with a well-established pack with clear boundaries and a natural hierarchy. She loves romping and tussling with her siblings, splashing around in her swimming pool, and joining in on all the fun. But when it’s time to interact with the older members of the pack, Fernie knows how to adjust and read the room. She understands pack dynamics remarkably well for such a young girl. Fernie is inquisitive rather than impulsive. In new surroundings, she can be a little cautious at first and prefers to take her time observing what’s happening around her. Give her a few minutes to watch, gather her confidence, and figure things out, and that cautious little girl turns into a happy explorer! She recently went on an adventure to an open market filled with new smells, sights, sounds, and people. At first, Fernie stayed close and watched carefully, looking for cues about what was happening. Once she realized everything was okay, she settled in happily, enjoying the shade, exploring at her own pace, and soaking up attention from passersby. And there is one surefire way to make Fernie happy: say her name! Her little tail starts wagging, her whole body wiggles, and that adorable Fernie wiggle-butt comes out in full force. Fernie would love a home that will let her continue learning, exploring, and growing into the wonderful dog she is already becoming. If you’re looking for a puppy who is smart, observant, adventurous, and just the right amount of silly, Fernie may be your girl! Local adoption fee together is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee together is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
SATO SPOTLIGHT! Meet Tiggy! Today’s spotlight shines on Tiggy, a beautiful 2-year-old, 38-pound Sato who I can only describe as a “grandma dog.” ❤️ Not because of her age — she’s only two! — but because of her sweet, gentle personality. Tiggy is the kind of dog who would bake you cookies, crochet you an afghan, and tuck you into bed at night if she could. She has such a motherly, thoughtful nature. She’s levelheaded, eager to please, and not the type to make impulsive decisions. Tiggy seems to think things through and just wants everyone around her to be happy. She’s generally quiet and doesn’t require a ton of activity, although she can absolutely bust out some zoomies when her doggy friends convince her it’s time to play! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and just about everyone she meets. We have not cat tested Tiggy, but based on her gentle temperament, we believe she could potentially do well with cats with a proper, slow introduction. Tiggy is a little bowlegged in her back end. We did thorough testing and found no evidence of a previous injury. It’s believed this was most likely caused by inadequate nutrition during her growing phase. It doesn’t bother her, slow her down, or prevent her from doing anything — we think it just adds to her charm. ❤️ At about 38 pounds, Tiggy is a wonderful medium size and would fit beautifully into so many different types of homes. Tiggy came to us from Puerto Rico and is now ready to find the family who will appreciate the incredibly sweet soul she is.   Adoption fee: $400 Unless otherwise stated, our dogs and puppies are: Spayed/neutered Microchipped 4DX tested (when age appropriate) On heartworm/flea/tick prevention Age-appropriately vaccinated Dewormed Vet checked ✈️ Flown from Puerto Rico Ready to give Grandma Tiggy the home she deserves? ❤️ Apply here: https://form.jotform.us/70927213338153 For more information: madrescueofwny@aol.com M.A.D.
