Men are from Mars :0 Remember that theory? Men from Mars and women from Venus?? So I AM MARS!! lol and I am a male!! SO MISUNDERSTOOD!! (all women rolling their eyes :) I am a big puppy... At the rescue again after being adopted in 2020!! :( I was returned by my "family" for something the rescue did before i left as a puppy- socialize me... SO, this is the thing... when you adopt a puppy especially, take the time to SOCIALIZE them all different situations and all different people and other animals.... it is your responsibility. WE committed to Mars so if his "family" gave up on him, we would not! He is back with the rescue and looking for his FOREVER HOME! This cutie pie is Henley and he's such a sweet pup. We think he's a Plott Hound mix who is just a year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. We rescued him from a Shelter after he was found with no tags or chip. Even with all the uncertainty in his life he is such a good and friendly boy that he was used as a "Tester' dog in the shelter to gauge other pup's demeanor and energy level. He was always respectful and nice to the other pups. He's smaller than a typical Plott Hound and we don't know what his other breeds are but there's certainly sweetness in his DNA! Henley is living with one of our Foster families now and he's doing great! They say he's such a character....a happy-go-lucky guy, super sweet and goofy boy who loves to play with his doggie siblings. He's smart and listens well and loves to play in their backyard. He's a perfect medium sized family pup! We think he'd do great living with an loving family who live in a suburban area with a fully fenced in yard. He'd love a doggie sibling too but could be a solo pup with a family who is active and gives him lots of love.
