This cutie pie is Henley and he's such a sweet pup. We think he's a Plott Hound mix who is just a year old and fully grown at 35 pounds. We rescued him from a Shelter after he was found with no tags or chip. Even with all the uncertainty in his life he is such a good and mellow boy that he was used as a "Tester' dog in the shelter to gauge other pup's demeanor and energy level. He was always calm, respectful and nice to the other pups. He's smaller than a typical Plott Hound and we don't know what his other breeds are but there's certainly sweetness in his DNA! Henley is living with one of our Foster families now and he's doing great! They say he's a happy-go-lucky guy, super sweet and loves to play with his doggie siblings. He's smart and listens well and loves to play in their backyard. He's a perfect medium sized family pup! We think he'd do great living with an loving family who live in a suburban area with a fully fenced in yard. He'd love a doggie sibling too but could be a solo pup with a family who is active and gives him lots of love. Meet Jaxson! 🐾 Jaxson is literally growing up in foster care, and he is so ready for a couch of his own! This sweet, goofy boy is a masterpiece of tail wags and kisses. Whether he’s sprinting through the yard chasing balls, dogs or “helping” with the backyard landscaping (RIP to the local moles! 😝) his personality is infectious. Jaxson is a “Velcro dog” in the truest sense—he has zero concept of personal boundaries and prefers to sleep right on top of you. His favorite nap spot? Directly on your neck or shoulders! If you aren’t available, he’ll happily flatten your couch cushions for you. He’s an A+ student who learns fast (especially if snacks are involved!) and has a built-in internal clock that never misses a mealtime. When you walk through the door, get ready for his famous “talking”—he has a lot to tell you about his day! Quick Facts: 🦴 Crate Trained: Sleeps soundly all night. Kelso hasn’t a clue he’s missing a leg, so no one else should either. This 5-year old, 47-pound Plott Hound mix is, simply put, pure perfection: Silly, floppy, fun, affectionate, and super friendly to everyone. Between his gorgeous markings, his soulful eyes, and his handsome face, Kelso is a total hearth-throb. He gets along amazingly well with kids, dogs, cats, adults, and the elderly. Easy-going and gentle, Kelso shares his possessions with ease, travels calmly, responds to correction, and rarely barks. When it’s time for bed, Kelso will plop into his bed and sleep through the night without interruption. Zzzzzzzz! Kelso has an excellent appetite, he loves treats, and he’s open to learning basic commands. He comes when you call his name, and he’s learning proper leash manners. Kelso lovvvvves going for walks, running in the yard, and playing with other dogs. As mentioned before, Kelso is a tripod and may look a little different, but he’s just a regular dude living life to the fullest. There’s nothing this adaptable boy can’t do…and add to that his phenomenal personality…well, that just makes him even MORE special. Kelso is fully housebroken, crate trained, and is an absolute doll while hanging out at home with his humans. He is as thrilled to play with a toy as he is being curled up next to you on the couch. Clara is a 10‑month‑old, 40‑lb Plott Hound mix who truly beat the odds. She survived the shelter when her brother and sister heartbreakingly did not, and she’s determined to make her second chance count. Despite her rough start, Clara is pure sunshine — social, happy, and instantly in love with every person and dog she meets. She’s an adventurer at heart, always ready to explore, run in the yard, or proudly parade around with her favorite chew toy. Keeping busy makes her happiest. When the day winds down, Clara becomes the world’s sweetest snuggler. She’ll press her whole body against you, soaking up every bit of love she can get. Clara is vaccinated, spayed, and needs a new home immediately. A fenced‑in yard is highly recommended so she can safely enjoy the freedom she loves.
