Story
Clara is a 10‑month‑old, 40‑lb Plott Hound mix who truly beat the odds. She survived the shelter when her brother and sister heartbreakingly did not, and she’s determined to make her second chance count. Despite her rough start, Clara is pure sunshine — social, happy, and instantly in love with every person and dog she meets. She’s an adventurer at heart, always ready to explore, run in the yard, or proudly parade around with her favorite chew toy. Keeping busy makes her happiest. When the day winds down, Clara becomes the world’s sweetest snuggler. She’ll press her whole body against you, soaking up every bit of love she can get. Clara is vaccinated, spayed, and needs a new home immediately. A fenced‑in yard is highly recommended so she can safely enjoy the freedom she loves. Otherwise she will need an active family that can go on walks. If you can give this brave, joyful girl the home she deserves, please contact Julie at 919‑624‑0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org.

Story
Meet Edwin — the sweetest little survivor looking for his forever home At just 2 years old and 33 lbs, Edwin has already lived through more than any puppy ever should. He came from a heartbreaking neglect case and was facing euthanasia at an overcrowded Tennessee shelter. His life was nearly cut short before it even had a chance to begin — but he was saved in the final moments, and now he’s ready for a fresh start. Despite everything he’s endured, Edwin’s heart is pure gold. He is incredibly friendly with people and other dogs, and he absolutely adores human affection. If you’re looking for a pup who melts into your arms, follows you with hopeful eyes, and just wants to be loved, Edwin is your boy. He’s young, resilient, and so eager to belong to someone who will cherish him. Transport is available to your area, so distance doesn’t have to stand in the way of giving this little guy the life he deserves. If you can open your home and your heart to Edwin, please contact Julie at 919‑624‑0059. This brave pup has already fought so hard for his chance — now he just needs someone to say “yes.”

🚨 URGENT BIO – TUCKER NEEDS OUT 🚨 Meet Tucker — 2.5 years old and bursting with life ❤️ Tucker is that perfect mix of goofy energy and total cuddle bug. He’s the kind of dog who will play hard, then flop right into your lap like he’s half his size. He’s: ✨ Fully vetted ✨ Dog-friendly ✨ Loves affection & attention ✨ Young, fun, and full of personality Tucker does best in a home without cats or livestock, and because of his enthusiasm, he’d be best with older kids who can match his energy. He’s not “too much” — he just needs an outlet, structure, and someone who will embrace his zest for life. Right now, Tucker is at risk simply for being overlooked. And that’s the tragedy… because dogs like him? They make the BEST companions once given a chance. Please share Tucker. Please be his chance. Let’s get this boy the life he deserves. 🐾 PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Flick is a great puppy, he has a great temperament and pretty easy going. He is a playful pup, he loves toys, playing with other pups and dogs and is great with children. Flick is a little over 6 months and weighs around 30 lbs, so he should be a bigger medium sized dog as an adult. Flick stays in a busy foster home with other puppies, adult dogs and children, and he has done well. He will chase a cat, so his new home should be cat free. If you are looking for an active, medium sized buddy, Flick is sure to be a great addition to most homes. He would do best in a home with a yard for him to explore, he is still learning leash training, but he's a smart cookie and should pick it up with a little help. Flick has been neutered, vaccinated and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet Minnie Mae — the sweetest adventure buddy you’ll ever meet. This 2‑year‑old black and tan coonhound was rescued from euthanasia at a Tennessee shelter and has been thriving in a temporary foster home. Now she’s ready for the forever family she truly deserves. Minnie Mae is 50 lbs of energy, curiosity, and love. She’s extremely active, strong, and happiest when she’s exploring, running, or playing with toys. Because she doesn’t currently have a fenced yard, she hasn’t been able to stretch her legs the way she needs — and she can be reactive when other dogs walk by. A secure fenced yard and an active household will make all the difference for her. She also loves going on car rides. Despite her high energy, Minnie Mae is a total sweetheart. She adores people, loves attention, and happily settles in for nighttime snuggles. During the day, she thrives when kept busy with enrichment, outdoor adventures, or anything that engages her hound brain. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready to travel to her new home. If you’d like to meet this incredible girl, please contact Julie at 919‑624‑0059 or julie@arcadiarescue.org. Transport is available.
