Story
Hi I’m Floyd! Now that we met, can you love me? Like right now, pretty please?!? I really want to find my forever home and be there and loved for the rest of eternity! I promise to show you lots of appreciation and love in return if you share your heart and maybe your bed with me, and promise to pet me often!  My foster family says that I am the most appreciative and loyal of all the fosters they have ever had. I’m just so happy to be in a warm, safe, and soft place after almost a year at shelters and in boarding!    A little bit more about me…I’m about 4 and a half years old and am a Plott Hound. This means I love to smell all the smells and really enjoy being outside. I would love a fenced in yard to explore, but it isn’t necessary as I’m pretty laid back and willing to chill with you on the couch if you’d prefer - again if you’re petting me, I’m there! I enjoy when people visit the house and do great with company. I’m a people pleaser! I also do well home alone when you need to leave for work or events without me and am fully house broken.    My fosters say I’m smart - I’ve learned to sit, stay and give a paw in a short amount of time! I love these treats they give me and am happy to do as you wish for one!    My foster mom says I have a history of being dog selective. I’m not sure what that means really, but she thinks I would do best in a home with no other male dogs. While I love the kiddos at my foster house, I need a house with no kiddos.   I would be a great house protector for a single person or a third wheel to a couple. I could be active or relax the day away depending upon what my family wants to do! As long as you’re going to love me forever and pet me often, please submit an application!  ##2243697##

Story
Kreacher is approximately a year old. He was an emergency rescue adoption. We really wanted to give him a wonderful opportunity of life however my other dog that was here first isnt too fond of him. We are working on his potty training but otherwise he is a good boy he listens to simple commands such as no, down, and get in your pen/cage. We are working on sit and paw haha. He loves to play and get pets! He has lots of energy to go around! We are sad to rehome home but it will be best for both dogs as thats all we want is the best for the animal ❤️

Story
Meet Harry (or sometimes Harold when he's being cheeky)! Harry is a young dog (we think between 9 mo - 1 yr) and weighs 31 lbs who was found as a stray but is learning that while its super fun to run around and play outside, naps are much better when snuggled up on a couch or blanket! He did not know much about being a happy indoor pup at first. But after some time, he's now following around his two adult foster dog siblings -watching, learning, and annoying them with his energy spurts. He would do well in a home with another patient dog to keep teaching Harry "how to dog". He's learned that from his foster cat sibling that cats don't like to be licked (and that they don't taste that good, anyways!) and will watch the cat but otherwise is indifferent. Harry is crate trained - eating his meals and sleeping the night in there. He will go in for some alone time when things get too loud with the human kids, or if he gets scared, so it will be important to continue having a crate available. He is working on his commands and house training. He knows sit, and come and has some days with no accidents, some with multiple. Like any young pup he will need a family committed to furthering his training. Harry is a friendly pup who likes meeting new friends - human and canine alike. He can be a bit shy in crowds and new places, so he will need someone with patience and who will let him explore at his pace. Harry has grown so much in the two weeks with his foster family, going from a quiet pup who didnt know how to play to a goofy sock stealing guy who likes to bark at his foster siblings for not playing with him.  If you're looking for an affectionate goofy guy who loves to zoom around outside, smell ALL the smells, and cuddle up for a snooze, Harry might just be the right fit! Apply today to meet him!  Available today for adoption with Paws Across Pittsburgh, KL 16182. ##2690135##
