He’s incredibly well behaved, calm in the house, and just a joy to have around.Here’s what makes Gato so special:?? Adores people and is known to love kids?? Appears to love every dog he meets????? Easy on leash and great on outings (even went hiking!)?? Entertains himself with toys when bored?? Willingly sleeps in his crate and goes in quietly—even when he knows it’s time to be left??? Food left out? No problem. Gato doesn’t steal??? Hates the rain and would rather hold it than potty outside? Practically no dog smell (even after rain!) and barely sheds—magic, honestlyHe does get very excited when people come through the door and may jump, but he already knows sit and is doing great learning an “excited sit” instead. He’s also working on getting more comfortable with his paws being touched.And one of our favorite stories? On a hike, he encountered a stream and tried to walk on water—clearly still figuring out how nature works. ??Gato is truly one of those rare, easygoing dogs that just fits into your life. He is 9 months old and ready to find his forever family! Breed Info: Domino is a Pointer mix. We know his mom was a GSP, but his dad was a traveling salesman (unknown!). The result is a goofy, happy "Tuxedo" dog. Why he’s special: Domino is pure joy. He is the "clumsy puppy" who trips over his own paws and wants belly rubs. Crate Trained: Sleeps quietly through the night. Dog Friendly: Loves playing with other dogs. Fostered with small dogs and is sweet. What to know: Training: Smart but still a puppy. Needs leash practice. Kids/Cats: He has NOT been tested with children or cats. He is sweet but bouncy! Don't Wait! Meet Judo! A spirited six-and-a-half-year-old mixed breed currently living in Bend, OR, whose heart is as big as his love for adventure. With his striking white coat sprinkled with black patches and a galaxy of tiny spots, Judo is as unique in appearance as he is in personality. Whether he's sprinting through the trails, keeping pace on a long run, or stretching out for a lazy day indoors, this adaptable boy is happiest when he’s with his favorite people! Judo is a true athlete—he can easily run 10+ miles or tackle a rugged hike, yet he’s just as content lounging around the house. His energy is balanced by his affectionate side, and his idea of a perfect evening involves snuggling up with his favorite humans. He has excellent house manners, is fully house-trained, and even free-feeds, maintaining a healthy weight of 51 pounds. He sleeps soundly through the night (sometimes up to 14 hours!) and greets his people with the most enthusiastic tail wag imaginable! Judo thrives in an adult-only home where he can feel secure and at ease. After a stressful experience, he has become anxious around children and is looking for a home without young ones. His sensitivity heightened after he was attacked by another dog, which led to increased wariness in certain situations. He nipped a toddler when the child became more mobile, signaling that he was uncomfortable with unpredictable movements. Additionally, he has bitten two dogs near his home when he felt threatened, though he does well with other dogs in open spaces and enjoys a good romp. With the right introduction and a calm environment, he may enjoy the companionship of another dog. He’s a sensitive soul who bonds deeply with his people, and while he’s independent in some ways, he appreciates understanding and patience when it comes to things like nail trims and long car rides. He loves playing in the rain and snow, but isn’t a fan of going out in it when it’s time for him to go. His ideal guardian is active, experienced with dogs who have some anxiety, and willing to provide him with both exercise and a calm, structured environment.
