Story
Currently in Korea, waiting for her forever home in 🇺🇸 🐾 Background Songsol was found on the streets of Yongin, Korea last summer. She had been abandoned and was in terrible condition. Her body was extremely thin, with only skin and bones left. She had severe bedsores and was unable to walk. Weak and exhausted, she was rushed to the hospital where she stayed for one month. After her hospitalization, Songsol joined our partner boarding house. With proper care, she slowly began to gain weight and rebuild her strength. She now lives peacefully with other dogs and continues to grow healthier every day. 🐾 Personality and Socialization Songsol is a gentle and loving girl with a medium energy level. She is friendly with everyone she meets and does well with other dogs as long as they are friendly. More than anything, Songsol loves being with her people. She is very affectionate and enjoys cuddling and staying close to her humans. She is truly a people focused dog and feels happiest when she is by your side. 🐾 Behaviour Songsol is an easygoing and smart girl. She does well in the car and is calm during baths, grooming, and vet visits. She walks nicely on leash and is generally well behaved. She can experience separation anxiety and prefers being near her humans. For this reason, we are looking for a home where someone is around most of the time and can offer her reassurance and companionship. 🐾 Health and Diet While we do not know what Songsol went through before she was found, it is clear that she suffered severe neglect. Thankfully, she has fully recovered and is now healthy and is ready for her forever home. She does not require any special medication or treatment. Songsol is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. She eats dry food twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies. 🐾 Ideal Home Songsol is a sweet, gentle, and intelligent dog who deeply loves people. Her ideal home would be one where she is rarely left alone and is included in daily life. A detached house is preferred, as she may bark if she feels anxious when left alone. A quiet environment such as the countryside would suit her well. A retired person or someone who works from home and can spend plenty of time with Songsol would be the perfect match for this loving girl. 🔗 Become her forever home today through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/songsol/

Story
🐾✨ Meet Tina — A Gentle, Affectionate Pointer Mix Looking for Her Forever Home ✨🐾 📍 Location: Korea 🇰🇷 (able to fly once adopted ✈️) 🐶 Name: Tina 🎂 Age: Approximately 5 years old ⚖️ Weight: 28.6 lbs ♀ Gender: Female (Spayed) 🐕 Breed: Pointer Mix (possibly Pitbull-Pointer mix) 🎨 Color: White & Black 🧡 Personality & Temperament Tina is a loving, affectionate girl who truly enjoys human touch and closeness. She has a calm and quiet nature, but she also knows how to have fun when it’s time to play. After playtime, she happily settles down and rests — and she does appreciate her downtime. She is gentle, social, and very people-oriented. 👩‍👨‍👧 Social Skills With women: Very good With men: Very good With children: Good With other dogs: Friendly and well-mannered With cats: She may look at them out of curiosity, but if redirected, she quickly loses interest 🏡 Training & Habits Potty trained: 100% pee pad trained and 100% outdoor trained Crate trained: Excellent — very comfortable in her crate Leash manners: Walks nicely and follows well. She only pulls slightly when she needs to potty Car rides: Loves car rides and usually falls asleep after getting in ⚡ Energy Level Moderate. She plays when it’s playtime but needs plenty of rest as well. She has a balanced energy level that makes her adaptable to many lifestyles. 🚨 Things to Note Tina can be startled by loud noises or sudden big movements. In those moments, she may try to jump away, so proper handling and secure leash management are important. She is not destructive in general, but if left alone and food is accessible on high places, she may try to reach it. 🏠 Home Environment Apartment living: ✅ Suitable Yard: Not required, but okay if available Can live as an only dog or with other dogs 💔 Rescue Story Tina was rescued from a large-scale breeding facility for big dogs. Despite her difficult past, she has grown into a loving, gentle, and trusting companion who is ready to start a new chapter with her forever family. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and loyal companion who will stay close to your side, Tina may be your perfect match. 💛

Story
Meet Betty White Breed: English Pointer / Terrier Mix Sex: Female DOB: March 9, 2021 Weight: 55 Pounds Health: Healthy and doing well Betty White is a beautiful, soulful girl with a heart as big as her smile. At four years old, she has the perfect balance of playful energy and loving companionship. Sadly, Betty White has been waiting at the rescue longer than many of the other dogs — quietly watching as others find homes while she patiently hopes someone will finally notice her. Dogs like Betty White are often the hidden gems of rescue: loyal, loving, and ready to give their whole hearts the moment someone gives them a chance. Personality Betty White is incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She greets people with a happy wagging tail and a loving nuzzle that instantly makes you feel welcome. She has a playful side and enjoys moments of activity, but she also knows how to settle down and enjoy quiet companionship. Betty White forms strong bonds with her people and is deeply loyal once she feels safe. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or cuddling up after a long day, she offers the kind of steady, comforting companionship that makes a house feel like home. Breed Info English Pointer and Terrier mixes often combine intelligence, curiosity, and devotion. Pointers tend to be affectionate and eager to please, while terriers add alertness, playfulness, and a spirited personality. Dogs with this mix enjoy both physical activity and mental engagement, making them wonderful companions for families who enjoy walks, outdoor time, and shared daily routines. Owner Responsibilities Betty White will thrive with an adopter who can provide daily companionship, regular walks, and opportunities for play and exploration. Positive reinforcement training will help strengthen her confidence and deepen the bond she forms with her new family. Dogs like Betty White do best when they are treated as true members of the household and included in everyday life. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before adopting Betty White, it’s important to think about long-term stability. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Betty White move with you? Do you have time each day for companionship, exercise, and engagement? Are you financially prepared for routine veterinary care, food, and unexpected medical needs? Adoption means committing to your dog through every stage of life. Vet Care Even though Betty White is healthy, adopters should establish care with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. This helps ensure ongoing preventative care and provides a trusted medical partner to support her long-term health. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule Like most rescue dogs, Betty White will need time to adjust to her new environment. The first 3 days she may feel overwhelmed as she decompresses. The first 3 weeks she will begin learning your routine and feeling more secure. By 3 months, her confidence will grow and her loving personality will truly shine. Patience and consistency during this transition are key to building trust. Why Betty White? Betty White has waited patiently for someone to see the amazing dog she is. She is loving, loyal, playful, and ready to share her life with a family who will appreciate her gentle heart. For the right adopter, Betty White won’t just be a dog — she will be a devoted companion who fills your days with love, laughter, and loyalty.
