Story
Meets Bender! He is an active, smart, and loving Pointer/Bulldog mix with a wonderful balance of energy and devotion. He is highly play-motivated and absolutely loves a good game of fetch! While he has plenty of fun energy, he also has a great "off switch" and is more than happy to sit right by your side or lounge around for hours. He is incredibly intelligent, eager to please, and very capable of learning new tricks with a trainer who uses positive reinforcement. We are looking for a loving home where he can get both play time and plenty of snuggle time

Story
Meet Theodore—better known as Theo, because this much FUN needs a nickname!Theo is a 6-month-old Pittie puppy with energy to spare and a personality that could probably power the shelter. This boy LOVES to have a good time! He has a blast in playgroups with his canine friends and absolutely loves people. If there’s a game happening, a person to greet, or something new to investigate, Theo is ready to participate!Like any 6-month-old puppy, Theo is still figuring out this whole “how to be a polite member of society” thing. He’s learning how to navigate the world, practice good manners, and understand appropriate interactions with both dogs and people. In other words, he’s a work in progress—but a very entertaining one!Theo is going to keep his future family on their toes. Expect zoomies, goofy puppy antics, curiosity, and plenty of opportunities to laugh. He has hours of entertainment packed into one adorable, wiggly package! And remember—at only 6 months old, Theo still has some growing to do, both physically and mentally. His future family should be ready to provide the training, structure, exercise, socialization, and patience that every young, high-energy puppy needs.Theo has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  He`s also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter.   Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
