Newton came to FOCCAS with his brother and sister. He is still a little bit timid, but is getting braver all the time. He is excited to go for walks, but nervous about getting a leash put on him. He is learning to walk using a gentle leader since he is a strong boy. He does like to roll over for belly rubs and is treat motivated. He does take treats very gently. He would like to be a buddy to someone who will continue to work with him on his training.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Newton's adoption fee is $275. Carly came into rescue with her 2 brothers. She had recently given birth. She was very timid at first. When put on a leash she would just pancake to the ground in terror. Now she's still a bit timid but looks forward to getting leashed up for a walk. She is food motivated. Every time she walks, she gets braver. She is making good progress in being socialized. She will need a patient family to teach what it is like to be part of a family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
