Newton came to FOCCAS with his brother and sister. He is still a little bit timid, but is getting braver all the time. He is excited to go for walks, but nervous about getting a leash put on him. He is learning to walk using a gentle leader since he is a strong boy. He does like to roll over for belly rubs and is treat motivated. He does take treats very gently. He would like to be a buddy to someone who will continue to work with him on his training.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Newton's adoption fee is $275. Carly came into rescue with her 2 brothers. She had recently given birth. She was very timid at first. When put on a leash she would just pancake to the ground in terror. Now she's still a bit timid but looks forward to getting leashed up for a walk. She is food motivated. Every time she walks, she gets braver. She is making good progress in being socialized. I will walk on a leash, although I may need a little time to warm up and get comfortable. I am really good with other dogs, but I prefer friends closer to my size—those little ones tend to get under my feet! As you can see, I have the most beautiful spotted coat. Meet Junior Dot, a delightful puppy brimming with energy and independence. Known for his goofy antics and playful spirit. He was found with his four siblings, all equally spirited. Junior Dot has a special love for playtime, especially with children, making him a perfect family companion. His enthusiasm isn't just limited to play; he's also a big food enthusiast. If you're looking for a lively, loving pet to add joy and laughter to your home, Junior Dot is your perfect match. As with all of our puppies, we recommend training for you and Junior to create a lasting bond for you both!  Medical Note:   This dog has tested positive for exposure to ehrlichia and showed symptoms consistent with an active infection.  This dog has been treated with a 28-day course of doxycycline and all symptoms have resolved.  This dog is ready for adoption, though may continue to test positive for exposure to ehrlichia for some time.  There is also a chance that the symptoms could recur and/or additional treatment be needed.  Please see here for more information on ehrlichia, and please check with your vet before you apply to adopt this dog if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history.
