Story
Milo was adopted as a puppy in 2024 and is two years old. He is house trained and loves to play as much as possible. He would do great on property and with another dog. He’s playful, energetic, and sweet. A really good dog, I just can’t provide for him in this phase of life.

Story
Hi, I'm Elijah! 🐕 I'm a 6-year-old brown and tan Chihuahua with a soft, long coat and a gentle spirit to match. I'm neutered and ready for my forever home — and here's the best part: I'm bonded with my companion Elena, so we're a package deal. 💕 Together, we're a dynamic duo of quiet, shy sweethearts who do best in a calm, loving environment. My adoption fee is $150, and we promise to fill your home with nothing but devotion and cuddles. 🤎

Story
McNugget is a loving one-year-old hound mix ready for his forever home. Found as a severely emaciated and sick stray, he’s now healthy, fully vetted, and eager to snuggle with his new best friend. He’s young, active, and curious, and would benefit from an experienced owner to continue training, help him learn and respect boundaries and provide structure. With proper introductions, he loves other dogs and would thrive with a friendly, energetic companion. He’s especially affectionate with kids and would make a wonderful family dog or a loyal work-from-home buddy. Oh and he’s also a big fan of water, give him a splash zone and he’s a happy boy. McNugget is house trained, crate trained, and non-destructive, but his classic hound howl makes apartment living less ideal. He has a big, joyful personality and a smile that will make you laugh. He does have some hip weakness that isn’t recommended to be addressed surgically at this time. While he can still play and run, he’s not suited for long hikes and may develop stiffness or early arthritis, so a family that is committed to monitoring his mobility and giving him the extra care he may need as he ages is a must. Also, a home with minimal stairs would be best! McNugget can be nervous in large social settings and prefers the comfort of his home and familiar people. This boy deserves a family who sees him for everything he is—and everything he’s overcome. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Story
We adopted Aamco in January 2025 after he was thrown out of a moving vehicle on Dale Mabry. He has been a good and loving dog and has been great with my kids. We think he is 2 1/2 or 3 but we are not sure. He is a big dog and requires a lot of space and attention which unfortunately I can not provide for him. He is a very sweet dog and I want him to have what he needs.
