PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Grimsby 🐾🧡 I’m a 1.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a gentle soul, a curious heart, and so much love to give 🧡 I’m a quiet, humble boy who’s still learning just how beautiful life can be. Every day is a new adventure for me—the sights, the sounds, and all the smells. I love car rides where I can sit and watch the world go by, and nothing makes me happier than a soft breeze and a cozy place to rest When I’m not exploring, you’ll usually find me snuggled up on a blanket I’ve carefully bunched up just right. I love gentle pets, quiet moments, and hearing that I’m a good boy. Once I bond with you, I’ll proudly stay right by your side as your loyal companion 🧡 I’m smart, eager to learn, and making great progress every day. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, but I’m still building confidence—especially around loud noises and when I see other dogs on walks. I just need a patient person to guide me and help me keep growing I do best when I have structure, consistency, and daily exercise. Long morning and evening walks are my favorite way to burn off energy and feel my best My ideal home: 🧡 Active home committed to daily walks 🧡 A calm, patient adopter (retired or home often is a big plus) 🧡 A fenced yard for safe exploring 🧡 Older kids (10+) 🧡 No cats 💌 A word from my foster: “He’s an intelligent, gentle, quiet soul who just wants to be loved and guided. Once he trusts you, he will stay by your side and be the most loyal companion.” If you’re looking for a thoughtful, loyal, and loving best friend who will grow with you and stand by your side through everything… I might be your perfect match 🐾🧡 Adoption FEE: $450, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Scuttle 🐾🧡 I’m a 1-year-old Rat Terrier with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for my people If you’re looking for a dog who believes personal space is a myth… I’m your guy 😄 I’m the ultimate Velcro dog. I don’t just want to be near you—I want to be on you. Sit down for a second? I’m in your lap. Working from home? I’m your tiny coworker. Watching TV? Hope you didn’t need that lap 🧡 I’m happiest when I’m touching my person, and I’ll follow you everywhere (yes… even to the bathroom 😅). And if you just got out of the shower? Perfect—because I’ve decided it’s my life’s mission to help dry you off Even though I love being close, I have a calm, easygoing personality. I don’t need a super active lifestyle—I’d much rather spend my days cuddling, relaxing, and just being with my favorite human I’m looking for a low to moderate activity home where I can soak up all the love. I don’t need a backyard, and I’d do well with or without kids. My biggest wish is just to have someone around often who loves having a constant companion My ideal home: 🧡 Low to moderate activity level 🧡 Kids or no kids are okay 🧡 Backyard not required 🧡 Someone who LOVES a lap dog 🧡 Someone home most of the day If your idea of happiness is never sitting alone again… I’ve been waiting for you 🥹🐾🧡 Adoption FEE: $500, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! ❤️🤍💙 Hi, I’m Independence 🐾💙 I’m a 2-month-old Chihuahua mix puppy and one of Mama Justice’s adorable little babies! I may be small now, but I have a big personality and an even bigger heart. I love playing with my sisters, exploring everything around me, and soaking up all the attention I can get. Whether I’m chasing a toy, following my people around, or curling up for a nap, I’m happiest when I’m with my family. 🥰 Since I’m still just a baby, I’m learning all the important puppy skills like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic manners. I’ll need a family that understands puppies require patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement while they grow. With a little guidance and plenty of love, I know I’ll become an amazing companion. Because I’m so young, I get along well with children, dogs, and cats when introduced properly. I’m looking for a forever family that’s ready to help me learn, grow, and become the best little dog I can be. In return, I promise a lifetime of love, loyalty, and puppy kisses. ❤️🤍💙🐾 Adoption FEE: $650, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources 🐾 Meet Fiona! 🐾 This adorable 17-week-old puppy is full of love, personality, and puppy charm! Fiona was found as a stray with her brother, Hank, but she hasn't let her rough start dim her bright spirit. She is the more outgoing of the pair and is always ready to make new friends and enjoy life's adventures. Fiona is everything you could want in a young pup — lovable, sweet, playful, energetic, and eager to please. She gets along great with other dogs and would love a canine playmate. Because of the special bond they share, we would love for Fiona and Hank to stay together if possible. If they are adopted separately, we would like for Fiona to have a home with another friendly dog. Fiona's highlights: ✔️ Crate trained and behaves very well in her crate (she may just need a little encouragement to go in) ✔️ Almost fully house trained ✔️ Responds wonderfully to training treats ✔️ Eager to learn and highly trainable ✔️ No food or toy aggression ✔️ Loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action Fiona is a happy, confident puppy who is ready to bring endless joy to her forever family. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a sweet personality and lots of puppy kisses to give, Fiona could be the perfect addition to your family! ❤️🐶 Adoption fee to adopt together is $450. ‍Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
We are looking to rehome our dog to a loving, experienced home. He is a loyal, affectionate, and intelligent dog who has been a wonderful companion. However, over time he has begun showing aggression toward small children. Since we recently welcomed our first baby, we've made the difficult decision that rehoming him is the safest and most responsible choice. We have explored different options and hoped to improve the situation, but we believe he would do best in a home without young children. We are committed to finding him the right family and are not looking to rush the process. Serious inquiries only—we want to ensure he goes to a safe, loving home where he can thrive.

Story
McNugget is a loving one-year-old hound mix ready for his forever home. Found as a severely emaciated and sick stray, he’s now healthy, fully vetted, and eager to snuggle with his new best friend. He’s young, active, and curious, and would benefit from an experienced owner to continue training, help him learn and respect boundaries and provide structure. With proper introductions, he loves other dogs and would thrive with a friendly, energetic companion. He’s especially affectionate with kids and would make a wonderful family dog or a loyal work-from-home buddy. Oh and he’s also a big fan of water, give him a splash zone and he’s a happy boy. McNugget is house trained, crate trained, and non-destructive, but his classic hound howl makes apartment living less ideal. He has a big, joyful personality and a smile that will make you laugh. He does have some hip weakness that isn’t recommended to be addressed surgically at this time. While he can still play and run, he’s not suited for long hikes and may develop stiffness or early arthritis, so a family that is committed to monitoring his mobility and giving him the extra care he may need as he ages is a must. Also, a home with minimal stairs would be best! McNugget can be nervous in large social settings and prefers the comfort of his home and familiar people. This boy deserves a family who sees him for everything he is—and everything he’s overcome. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

We adopted Aamco in January 2025 after he was thrown out of a moving vehicle on Dale Mabry. He has been a good and loving dog and has been great with my kids. We think he is 2 1/2 or 3 but we are not sure. He is a big dog and requires a lot of space and attention which unfortunately I can not provide for him. He is a very sweet dog and I want him to have what he needs.

Story
Shadow is a sweet, resilient five year old boy who has endured more than any dog should. He was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and brought to Tampa Bay, where he finally experienced the comfort of a loving home. But after a crosscountry move triggered severe anxiety, he was surrendered, leaving his heart broken once again. For a moment, things seemed to turn around. Shadow was adopted by another family and began to settle in. But when his vision started to fade, his family chose not to seek answers and returned him to us. He came back overweight, with swollen ankles, and carrying the weight of yet another loss. We soon learned that Shadow has a thyroid condition. With medication, a healthy diet, and proper care, he is already improving and showing glimpses of the happy, playful pup he truly is. His vision changes may even be connected to this condition, and he is undergoing further evaluation to give him the best chance possible. Through every setback, Shadow has remained the same at his core: a loving, affectionate dog who simply wants to be close to his people. He deserves a calm, patient home where he can continue healing and finally be cherished for the incredible companion he is. Shadow has been let down too many times, but we believe his forever family is out there. Please help us find them. Share his story. Open your heart. This brave boy deserves the soft landing he has always needed.         ##2177020##
