Meet Stellar — the Sweetest Wallflower 💐Stellar is a senior black and white Lab/Pit mix who came to us from a loving home after her owner’s health declined. She’s spent her life being someone’s best friend and is now hoping to find a new family to fill that role once more.She’s a gentle, sensitive soul who’s been understandably overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the shelter. A bit of a nervous nelly, Stellar may start out shy, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality shines through. She’s done well with both dogs and cats in our temperament testing, and we believe she’ll be much more confident once she’s back in a calm, predictable home environment.Stellar would do best with children 8 and older, not because she isn’t sweet (she absolutely is!), but because loud noises and sudden movements can spook her. Thunderstorms and fireworks aren’t her jam either—but who can blame her?When she’s feeling safe, Stellar loves to play ball, show off her “sit” for cookies, and learn new things to please her people. She’s smart, eager to connect, and just waiting for a quiet home and a warm heart to help her feel secure again.Ready to give this lovely lady a soft place to land? Stella’s got a lot of love left to give—you just have to earn her trust, and she’ll be your loyal shadow for life. 🐾 While she is currently spending time at a foster home to give her a cozy wait until her forever family finds her, inquire about her with our Front Office staff and they would love to give you more insight on just how wonderful she is!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 8yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Inky is a 4.5-year-old, 76-pound lovable pup who has been patiently waiting over a year for his forever family — and we honestly can’t understand why. He’s one of our most adored dogs and a true favorite among volunteers and staff thanks to his goofy charm and endlessly lovable personality.Inky loves everyone he meets and thrives on being around people. He’s a strong boy who enjoys heading out on fun outdoor adventures (especially his famous lizard-hunting excursions), but what matters most to him is simply being included with his humans. He’s happiest when he’s near his people, soaking up attention and showing off his tricks in exchange for treats — with pup cups being his absolute favorite reward.He is house trained, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Inky would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely explore, or with an active family who enjoys long walks and outdoor time. He is friendly with other dogs but prefers female companions — his current best friend is Luna, our longest resident.After more than a year in rescue, Inky is more than ready for his second chance.
