Story
We all think Panda is pretty darn perfect! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 43 pounds. Are you ready to add a little bouncy joy to your life? Meet Panda, one of the happiest, sweetest girls, with a nonstop waggy tail that thumps on everything she is near, it is too funny! Panda is a pro at sitting pretty and taking treats gently, but she's also got a playful, spunky side that will keep you smiling. She loves to be close and will wiggle her way into your lap for cuddles, but you have to be careful because she will sneak in as many kisses as she can, and trust us, she is quick! With her outgoing and affectionate nature, Panda is the perfect companion for an active home with a yard to explore and play in. She's also a well-mannered girl who just needs a basic obedience refresher, especially when it comes to walking on a leash. So, if you're looking for a loyal and loving friend to add some pep in your step, Panda would love it if you came to meet her, she can’t wait for a family to love. She will need home where any children are at least 8 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Panda would love to meet them. She has a loose approach with other dogs and does cute play bows. She also likes to “check in” with you for guidance and reassurance. If you are interested in Panda and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl. She had a couple of accidents the first day in her foster home but now she’s doing very well with house training if you would like to be Miss Bea’s hero and the center of her world, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or Dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send you our information and application. Story
Toffee is a 3.5–4-month-old, 20lb puppy, who’s all legs, sweetness, and curiosity. She’s a fun, gentle girl with a naturally shy side, but her confidence grows more each day as she learns about the world around her. She’s currently thriving in a busy foster home with two female resident dogs, three cats, and two teenagers ... she’s handling the everyday chaos beautifully. Toffee is doing great with both house-training and crate-training, and she absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Because Toffee takes cues from confident pups, she will do best in a home with a friendly, well-adjusted dog companion who can help show her the ropes. She’s still learning polite manners with cats (she’s more playful than they prefer), but she’s eager to please and making steady progress with guidance. Toffee is a loving, thoughtful puppy who will blossom in a patient home that can continue building her confidence and helping her shine.
