Story
Hi, I’m Zella! I’m a 2-year-old mix with a big heart, a zest for life, and a dream of finding my forever home. I’ve been waiting patiently, and I just know the right person is out there for me! I’m a happy, curious girl who loves to explore the world around me — walks, yard zoomies, sniffing new smells — count me in! Because I have such a love for adventure, a securely fenced yard is a must. I’ve done some training with PawsAbilities and would love to keep learning with you. I already walk well with a harness or Gentle Leader, and training time is one of my favorite ways to bond. I’m great with people of all ages and really shine once I’ve had time to warm up and feel safe. I do best with calm, respectful dog friends and would do better with a canine sibling who’s more easygoing. I’m still working on managing my excitement when I get overstimulated, so an experienced dog person who can help me stay calm and confident would be my perfect match. Because I can get a little anxious in new environments (I might bark a bit while I adjust), I’d do best in a home without shared walls — somewhere quiet and cozy where I can settle in at my own pace. No apartments. If you’re looking for a loyal and adventurous companion who’s ready to grow and learn with you, I might just be your girl. Apply to meet me at campcompanion.org — I can’t wait to meet my person! 💛 Adoption fee: $350

Story
Hi there! My name is Fred and I am here at Paws and Claws in search of a forever home!I was adopted from PCHS quite a few years back but unfortunately have found my way back due to no fault of my own. I was orginally from an impound where I was an unclaimed stray. It`s been a real bummer being bounced around but my spirits remain high!I enjoy spending time outside in the sun, going for walks, and singing! I have a fabulous singing voice. Given my older age, I am not much in the mood for `puppy or young dog` antics anymore. I would do best as an only dog or perhaps in a home with other older pups like myself. I am a bit nervous being back in rescue so I do hope my time here can be short! If you are looking for a fun pup like me, come to PCHS and ask for Fred! Applications can be found on our online website. **Adoption fee: $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax
