Story
Meet Bubba!This thick, handsome boy came to PCHS from an impound. Bubba is estimated to be between 6-8 years of age and is around 87 pounds! Bubba appears to be a Chesapeake Bay Retriever or an English Labrador Retriever, but we do not know for sure. Bubba was in desperate need of some medical attention when he arrived. He had a severe double ear infection and very inflamed and itchy skin. He is on the mend and starting to feel better with some much needed medications. Bubba has thickened ears likely due to untreated hematomas over the years. He also seems to have struggled with skin allergies for some time. He was recently started on an allergy medication and his new owners will need to be committed to giving him this medication for the rest of his life. Bubba is sweet, affectionate, and enjoys going on walks. He seems to do okay with other dogs, and with proper introductions he may be able to live with cats as well.
