Story
Hi, I’m Willy, and that dog over there is my twin brother Billy. You can tell us apart by looking at our backs, I’m all white, and my brother has a big black spot on his back. A nice lady found us under a house, starving, with a ton of fleas. She didn’t have much, but she gave us some food and water and stayed with us. She went to the store and got us some puppy food and a big tub to give us a bath in. Over the next couple days our foster momma fed us, and bathed us, then when she was going to head home, she put a towel down in her car, turned the AC on, put us in the car, and we slept the whole 165 miles home! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSk1g40FW1g Once we got to our new foster home, we all focused on getting healthy! We eat 3-4 times a day, so we are slowly getting back to a healthy weight. We learned that blankets are amazing, super cozy, and snuggles are the best. Here is what my foster momma says about me: “Willy is all hugs and kisses and loves to be held or just sit on my lap. He was the thinner of the two, when I found them… Both Billy and Willy are very loving and playful. They are wonderful puppies.” We are currently around 3 months old. I weighed in at 18 lbs each on 8/22. Our guess would be we will end up being a medium to large size dog. There’s plenty of guesses on our breed, but the best guess is that we are some sort of hound, pointer, lab mix. I'm ready to find my forever home and meet my forever family! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Darla is a one-year-old pointer mix with big feelings, big opinions, and zero hesitation about sharing them. She narrates her life like a soap opera star — if she doesn’t like something, she’ll complain to the manager. If you forget to pet her, she’ll also complain to the manager. If the wind blows weird? Yep… she has thoughts about that too. This girl has energy for DAYS. She would thrive in a busy, active home where she can run, play, explore, and then run some more. Daily hikes? Yes please. Jogging buddy? Absolutely. Backyard zoomies? Darla says, “Hold my leash.”She loves people with her whole heart and insists on being part of every activity you do — preferably right next to you, supervising closely and offering commentary. She is the kind of dog who brings laughter, movement, and personality to every room she enters. If you’re looking for a goofy, lively, endlessly entertaining companion who will keep life exciting, keep you active, and keep management on their toes, Darla is ready to join your household… and run it.

Story
PNW READY — this boy loves the rain! We’re pleased to introduce you to Josh Jackson: a gorgeous pointer mix perfect for adventures. We estimate Josh is ~4 years old, and as a more mature gentleman, he has a confident, mellow energy that would make an amazing addition to many types of families. Our Behavior team noted that Josh had a very strong, confident presence: he was sweet and self-assured, with no fear or aggression whatsoever. He was happy to meet new dogs & play, but he was equally happy to take a break from romping when it suited him. While in the play yard, he picked up a toy to play with, when another dog came and grabbed onto the toy that was still in his mouth…and they were walking around together with the same toy in their mouth with no issues. In his foster home, Josh lives with 7 other dogs, cats, rabbits, and human kiddos. He is a super adaptable boy! His foster notes that he does like to play at home and does good with sharing toys. Josh is housetrained and crate trained, though he’s not yet used to crated for long periods of time. Josh is easy-going and adaptable: he has an average energy level and could do well with siblings or as an only dog. His best life has a backyard where he could explore and a whole heap of adventures ahead. Oh—and a few rainy days! This boy was so content frolicking between rain drops!
