Benelli, also goes by Benny! This girl is a Pointer Lab mix and loves to run and play. Her jolly ball is her favorite thing in the world🫶 She loves to go on walks/runs and cuddling with her person on the couch. Good with commands. Plays well with other dogs her size. Would do best in a home without small animals, or small children. She does well with older kids 8 yrs+. She is 8 years old, spayed & UTD on rabies.

Story
Meet Buck! Big boy Buck is one of our newer arrivals to HAP from one of our partners shelters in the South! He is the happiest, goofiest, wiggliest, silly boy there is! Anytime Buck sees a human, his big ole tail is wagging back and forth and that's quickly followed by full body wiggles. Once he gets close enough, he's putting all that weight on you so he can soak up all the loving he can. When he's not getting pets, Buck has been trying to figure out this thing called fetch. So far he's not the biggest fan as he'll go chase after something but hasn't figured out the bringing it back part yet. He's been recovering from his neuter so he hasn't had any play dates with other dogs yet but he's seemed interested in other dogs so we could schedule a dog meet if you have current dogs in the home to see if he'd make a good playmate! Buck is a long and lean boy and sometimes doesn't realize his size when he pushes in for attention so kids in the home would just have to be comfortable with a big dog with barnacle tendencies (he is the cutest barnacle we've ever seen though). He does however walk really well on the leash and knows how to sit so big boy does have some manners. So if you're looking for a dog that's always going to make you laugh, Buck is the guy for you! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet the “D” Squad: Dottie, Domino & Dimples! This adorable trio of siblings are 5 months old and ready to steal your heart and fill your home with love, laughter, and puppy snuggles. Rescued from an outdoor situation where they had little human interaction, these three are now blossoming into affectionate, playful, and loyal companions who just want to be where you are. Each pup has their own personality, but they share a love for cuddling, playing, and exploring their new world. They’re about 90% house trained, have been living together in a pen (not a kennel), and would thrive in homes where someone is around often or where they can have another dog buddy to learn from and snuggle with.Mr. Dimples lives up to his name—he’s sweet, calm, and oh-so-lovable. With his signature brown patches on each cheek, he’s the soft soul of the group. Dimples may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he becomes a loyal shadow. He loves sunshine, quiet playtime, and cuddling up with the senior dog in his foster home. Dimples would do best with a canine companion to help boost his confidence and keep him company. He weighs 20 pounds. All three puppies are still learning what it means to be part of a loving family, but they are more than ready to give back all the love they’ve been waiting to share. Whether you’re looking for a loyal best friend or a playful sidekick, the D Squad has someone just right for you.
