Meet Banjo! This handsome Pointer mix is almost 1 year old and weighs about 40 lbs—a perfect medium-sized adventure buddy. Banjo came to us as a stray and, sadly, was not reclaimed. Now he’s ready for a fresh start in a loving home. Because Banjo is new to the shelter, we’re still getting to know him and don’t yet know how he does with other dogs, cats, or children. What we do know is that he’s young, curious, and full of potential. Banjo is vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, and neutered—all ready to go home!

When Libby found me she appeared to have been dumped, was malnourished and alone. Brought her home and to the vet twice. She now is at a perfect weight and happy. Gets along with my other two dogs and cats. I also have grandkids that she is great with. I would continue to keep her except I have a short chain link fence that she has figured out how to get over. She never goes far but unsafe. She loves to go on walks and runs. Sweet enjoys laying in the sun and belly rubs.

Meet Coop, a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. This sweet boy is a gentle “lap dog in a big dog body” who happily follows his humans from room to room, always wanting to be nearby. Coop is house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands, making him an easy and well-mannered companion. He would do best in a calm home without small children (only because they make him a little nervous) where he can soak up all the love, routine, and companionship he craves. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow and a snuggly best friend, Coop is ready to fill that role beautifully. ##2635523##
